It rises just enough to be comfortable without needing to lean forward awkwardly. I absolutely love this table and would highly recommend! I have a U shaped couch. My original coffee table was long and thin (regular coffee table size) which made it difficult to get in and out of the couch with barely 4 inches on each side. This square coffee table fits perfectly and allows us to walk around and even vacuum around it without moving it or squeezing in and out. I love the desk/table that elevates for eating/working. I also love that the other side slides open. This makes it so much easier to get in it and store things. I can put extra blankets plus clear anything breakable and put inside when my toddler grandsons come visiting. I was missing one decorative corner hinge piece. I contacted the seller through Amazon. The seller responded very quickly and sent out the missing piece almost immediately. Great customer service. Also, I must add that this is simple to put together and the first thing my husband and I put together without him getting frustrated with poor directions or unlabeled parts. Everything was clearly marked and the directions were easy to follow. We’ve had it for about a week now and I just love it. I looked at many versions of similar tables and this was better price and quality than some more expensive options. Very sturdy and well made. Would highly recommend!

This coffee table exceeded my expectations! It fits perfectly in my 15x14 living room and looks exactly like the pictures. This table looks great in my living room and I love how functional it is. Having the wireless charging, as well as the USB ports and plug-ins, it’s awesome. Assembly was relatively straight forward and I’m very happy with this purchase.

Nice quality. Not too long to build (1 hour 20 minutes). Directions are fairly clear. It’s large so I can fit a lot of my kids’ board games. Some of my “farmhouse” items from Amazon come with a green type hue, this is white. It’s a very nice piece of furniture that I expect will last me a while. The arms that lift it are a little flimsy so I plan to be careful with those. Overall, I’m satisfied

This is a beautiful, textural coffee table. Exceeded my expectations! I'm fairly handy, but some of the pre-drilled holes on mine were a pain to screw in at the corners, even with a power drill. Thought I was going to split a panel from the screw spewing out bits of the inner material as it was sinking itself. Luckily, it never did. I absolutely LOVE all of the storage inside! All of my thick blankets fit so I can hide them when not in use. I still had space to put 20 - 3 wick jar candles stacked inside with room to spare! No longer will I have to run upstairs to my stash of candles. The top slides out easily. The lift portion is also very sturdy and stays put when raised. I wish I had this when my children were younger. It will hold lots of toys to keep your space tidy. Solid piece of furniture.

Beautiful but arrived with some damaged pieces. One corner and the farmhouse details were missing a couple holes. Plus after installed there’s a spacing issue with bottom. It’s very heavy and could be a great buy but not sure if I can get replacement bottom piece. Not going to reassemble and return.

Was easy to put together! I use it every day to eat, or to do puzzles on! Its a great size not too small and has great storage for blankets or whatever.
