A very good quality
The hacksaw Eclipse brand, is one of most known brands, I have used & seen over the years. ThisEclipse Professional range of hacksaw/s has a feel and look of very high quality. Has a very nice grip. Should last me a life time.

Shame about the handle
I like everything about this - except that the rubbery part of the handle has come loose after using it only once.Still, the rest of the tool seems sturdy, and the blade cuts well with decent flexibility (you will still put a bend in if you catch something, though.) Cut through the the m6 automotive bolts I needed it too with little effort, though, and a useful addition to the tool box.

Really pleased, did the job I bought it for
I needed something to saw through the metal screw spindle from underneath my loo seat. The bolt on one side had totally seized, WD40, a spanner and a hammer failed to budge it. So I purchased this specifically based on other reviewers who had had success in sawing off metal bolts. It took a while, not helped because I couldn't see what I was doing so could only hope the blade was getting somewhere. After about an hour of sweat and struggle, off popped the loo seat. Well worth the small cost!

Great Hacksaw
Ideal for cutting through nails which hold fence panels to posts.

Does the job. Sort of.
Worked perfect as a hacksaw. Did the job I needed it for.Be prepared for the pinch bolt to cross thread itself, happend to me within the first five minutes. Other than me having to thread in my own bolt it was worth £7

Effortless cutting.
I had to cut two corroded screws which were securing my toilet to the floor.Without this cleverly well designed tool I'd have been stuck unless I'd pulled out my oscillating saw.Cut through the screws in a tight position with the whole weight of the toilet on top of the blade like they weren't there... I was literally through in 30 seconds flat. You have to have this if you want a comprehensive tool kit.
