Fun Express Stack It Peg Game with Board Occupational Therapy for Austism, Various Colors, (IN-57/2146), (1 Board and 30 Pegs)

I ordered this for occupational hand therapy. This is being used to help me grip the pegs and make my fingers bend. This was recommended by my therapist after arm surgery.

I love this pegboard set. I teach 2 1/2 year olds, and the foam is soft enough that the children can press the pegs into it. They do have to be "broken in" at first, at least for young children, but the holes do not stretch to the point that the boards are unusable. Some of the ways that we have used them in class include counting, patterning, color recognition, and fine-motor control.I will add one caution, however. The picture shows 6 complete sets, but you receive only one set. To Amazon's credit, the description does state that the set includes "30 pegs and one foam board." However, I had previously bought a set of 6 boards, each with 30 pegs, from another retailer. The picture is identical on both retailers' websites. I was amazed when I ordered these from Amazon and received only 1 set. I admit that I did not read Amazon's description carefully enough.because I was in a hurry.

I have done this before, bought based on a picture and forgot to read the fine details... facepalm! Well, I have had the opportunity to work with these types of items before with my child's early-on specialist, so I wanted to get something fast and thought it was great that it would arrive quickly. That was the plus. I have seen multiple types and styles of pegs and boards, so I figured it would be worth what I got no matter what. This came with only ONE purple foam peg board that has very small holes - much smaller than the very large pegs! That was a poor design choice. The thing was just a really crappy imitation of the various ones I have seen. The pegs require significant pushing into the foam board. My youngest is 2 and I have another that is 7 with poor hand strength that requires OT and neither had strength to push into the foam board. I had to push one in and it caused the hole to become much larger and warped, almost to a point of breaking the foam into an entirely new larger hole! The picture was deceiving showing all colors *5* and then many pegs, but only ONE (1) not a variety. I did not count the peg number, but after I placed it back into the shipment box last night I thought about the purchase as rather stupid. I normally read reviews, get into detail on the sellers and look at descriptions. This one, I did not do that, I was in a hurry. Fooled me! I was deceived by a picture and that is just simply wrong! This is meant for occupational therapy and motor skills, sad that they are profiting on others shortcomings. The real deal is that there was no actual box, no instructions were included. It was shipped with another item I got for my child, it was nothing more than a clear plastic bag with a sticker, a few pegs and a single foam board. SO NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID! I could have gotten it from the dollar store and paid what it was worth. Very sad. I will have to go out and look at other sellers, likely make my own foam peg board!!!

Bought for my therapy patients for motor control, was a little upset that it was only one board.

I didn’t realize it only came with one pad ( mine was yellow). The holes were tiny in comparison to the pegs. I had to open up the holes so my grandson could use it at intended. Otherwise, he enjoyed stacking the pegs and they were very colorful .

This is great for my wife who is Recovering from a stroke. It really helps her motor skills.

This product is perfect! Colorful pegs, sturdy foam board, and lots of fun. I got this toy for my 22 mos old son who really liked the pegs when he was evaluated by early intervention. My 9 mos old also loves the pegs, he doesn’t know what to do with them but they’re so colorful it gets his attention. NOT a choking hazard. It arrived nicely shrink wrapped, with 25-30 pegs with 6 different colors. My picture is missing some pegs because the kids also like to throw them.
