iFixit 1/4" Bit Driver for Electronics and Household Repair

Amazing quality but it is a bit heavy and long.

This is my second driver from ifixit and I must say that I really like the weight and feel. It's solid construction and action are top in my book. A nice on the go driver in a set for any small to medium repairs.

Excellent quality and great feeling screwdriver. I will say, I bought this as a replacement for the screwdriver that came in my kit after it broke. The free-spinning bottom just came completely unattached, I couldn’t find my receipt so I couldn’t make a warranty claim. I hope they updated the design so it won’t happen again, if so, I love this screwdriver.

I bought this driver thinking I’d use it for normal things—fixing a laptop, tightening some screws, maybe looking competent for once. I was wrong. This tool is far more powerful than I could have imagined. It started with my toaster. One morning, it refused to eject my toast. The smell of burning bread filled the air. Panic set in. I grabbed my iFixit 1/4" Bit Driver like a knight unsheathing a sword. The knurled grip gave me ultimate control as I removed the first screw. The magnetic bit socket let me swap bits with lightning speed. As I worked, the toaster hissed at me. Was it alive? Had I angered it? Then, just as I unscrewed the final bolt, a portal opened. A second, slightly older version of me stepped out. He looked tired. He held an iFixit driver. "You have to fix the toaster," he whispered. "It’s the key." With newfound urgency, I completed the repair, sealing a rift in space-time with nothing but sheer willpower and precision machining. The toaster dinged. The future me gave a thumbs-up before vanishing. I ate the best toast of my life that morning. Crispy, golden, infused with the knowledge that I had saved the universe with a single tool. Would buy again.

Solid craftsmanship. I had believe it was a precision screwdriver for 4mm bits, but as it turns out, it takes standard-sized bits. Instead of returning it, I ordered an adapter bit as this thing is built like a tank that will last a lifetime or two!

Just a solid chunk of aluminum with a swivel on the top and a steel screwbit holder.

Works great. It is much bigger than the 1/8 driver but works just like it should.
