The glass is better than stainless steel. Just make sure to heat it properly. PLEASE READ!
I’m writing this because, one: switching to a glass moka pot has been way easier to use than stainless steel, since now I can actually see what’s happening inside (like in the photo). And two: a lot of the bad reviews here seem to be from people who don’t know how to use it properly. When you put it on the stove, it’s fine to use high heat, but only until it just starts to fill up a little bit (just like in my photo). As soon as you see that, you have to either lower the heat to really low or just turn it off. If you leave the heat high, it will start bubbling and burning, which is not how it’s supposed to work. The flow should be slow, smooth, and steady as the espresso rises into the upper chamber (where the coffee collects). If you like sugar in your coffee, here's my recommendation: put the sugar in a separate cup first. Then, as soon as the moka pot starts flowing espresso (like in the photo), pour just a little bit (you only need a small splash) into the cup with the sugar and mix it up well. It should look sludgy. Then you can put the moka pot back on the stove at super low heat, or even leave it off, since it finishes really quickly. The whole process moves fast, so make sure to keep an eye on it.It should never be violently boiling into the glass. If it is, your heat is too high and you're doing it wrong. It’s meant to be a smooth, steady flow. If you overheat it to where it's boiling into the glass, your espresso will turn out watery, and that's just user error, because when done right, it makes a very rich and smooth espresso every time. All in all, I actually love this moka pot. I've been using it for almost half a year now and no issues with the quality. Being able to see what’s going on inside makes a huge difference and makes it easier. Once you understand how to control the heat and time it right, it works perfectly with amazing and rich espresso.

Great pot
Great quality. Does not drip when pouring. Best one I’ve ever had.

Leaks and the sizing is wrong.
I’ve only ever used mokas to make coffee, so I am proficient on how to use them properly. This particular moka leaks where it gets screwed in and spills when boiling, even though it’s not full.Additionally, the description states that it has a 6-cup capacity. That is false, 6-cups is the equivalent of 48oz, this moka makes less than 1-cup, which is less than 8oz.The glass is a pretty concept and looks nice, however, it’s not functional and is a poor value for the the price.
