Are these pieces interchangeable with the 1-2-3 Robot set as well?

The Robot Building Set listing says "WORKS with all 1-2-3 Build It! sets!" So I think that it probably does. I guess this could provide a little additional opportunity for creativity. The rocket-train-helicopter set mostly seemed to encourage my son to follow the models.
