MASTERPAN5 QT. Non-Stick Stock N’ Pasta Pot w/ Locking Handles and Easy Pour Strainer, 9”

This pasta pot is greatness!!! Been in the market for a new one for quite some time because my now discontinued trustworthy one is on its last leg! I am pleasantly pleased with this one here! A tad smaller than I imagined. I was only able to get 2 boxes of pasta in it without boil over...you may get 3 in it. The lid locks great. I tested it first without boiling water to avoid any surprises! As others have mentioned, the handles to get very hot but not a deal breaker for me! I'm one that always uses a mitt for pot handling anyhow so thats fine. Nice quality thus far.. only one use at this time. Very easy to clean.

I purchased this when I was looking at the Perfect Pot and I'm glad I got this one instead. The glass lid is great and it works great with my induction burner!

The pot arrived well packaged with no damage. It has a hefty and well balanced feel to it. After confirming it worked on my new induction cooktop, I tested how well it strained water with the handles locked; perfect. There was absolutely no splatter or overflow. (YAY!!!)I've had a pot of chili cooking in it for several hours today. It browned the meat very evenly. When I lift the lid to stir, the lid doesn't leak condensation everywhere like my other pot lids. When I hold the handles, they are just beautifully warm to my chilly fingers on this cold windy/rainy day.Several people complained that the handles are too hot to touch. This is not the case on an induction cooktop at all because there is no gas burner flame or radiant heat from an electric cooktop that travels up the outside of the pot.I haven't yet cooked my angel hair pasta in it yet, but the smaller strainer holes in the lid look like they'll prevent the pasta from escaping into my sink, unlike similar lids that I've had.The posted picture of my pot of chili cooking is on a 30" induction cooktop.

I wanted it to be bigger. Great for small amounts of pasta.

Cooks amazingly even. It is a substantial piece of cookware…..plan to order more from this manufacturer.

Love this pot, its been more than a year and looks like new, I was doubtful to buy it because of other reviews, but I am.glad I did, the handles do get hot... just wear gloves when you handle it. Totally recommended. Wish they had the same model but smaller.

Very clever cooking product. Was surprised at how high quality this product was. Very nice packaging and the materials and workmanship of this are A+++. This will be a pot that I use for all my pasta and regular pot cooking dishes. The drain feature is really nice and saves time when cooking which is helpful. Thank you Masterpan team for this really cool and useful product.

Easy to use

Used this 4 or 5 times now, brilliant pasta pan.

This is a very good pot when cooking pasta, potatoes anything you're using a lot of water that needs to be drained. I like it. You do have to be very careful with the handles as they do get very hot! As you have to maintain a very high heat with pasta, and if using a gas stove, you need to make sure you have pot holders. Good heavy duty pot holders! Might not be so bad with electric stoves. It does make life easier though to drain especially if you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis.
