I received this charm as a gift. Is it suppose to have an open clasp or slide on? It does not slide on to my Pandora bracelet.

It is a slide on & I know now they have a newer bracelet that is lighter & smaller, I think. That's the only reason I could think of why the charm doesn't fit your bracelet. Are you aware you have to roll it/twist it over the clasp (while it's still open) to get it onto the bracelet? Maybe that's the problem.
