Xbox Series S - 1TB in Robot White

This is my second Xbox Series S here is my honest review. I’ve been using the Xbox Series S for a while now, and honestly, it’s a bit of a mixed bag—but in a way that mostly works in its favor. The first thing you notice is how small and clean the console looks. It’s easy to tuck away almost anywhere, and it doesn’t make a big deal out of itself. Setup was quick, and getting into games feels fast thanks to the SSD. Load times are noticeably shorter compared to older consoles, which makes jumping between games or resuming where you left off feel smooth and modern. Performance-wise, it handles most games really well, especially if you’re playing on a 1080p or 1440p display. Games feel responsive, frame rates are stable, and features like Quick Resume are genuinely useful once you get used to them. That said, you do have to accept that this isn’t the console for top-tier graphics. Some games don’t look as sharp as they do on more powerful systems, and occasionally you’ll notice lower resolutions or missing visual details. Storage is probably the biggest downside. The internal space fills up faster than you’d expect, especially with modern game sizes. If you like having a lot of games installed at once, you’ll either be juggling downloads or considering extra storage, which adds to the cost. One thing I’ve really liked is how well it pairs with Game Pass. If you’re the kind of player who enjoys trying lots of different games without committing to full purchases, it feels like the console was designed with that in mind. It turns the Series S into a really convenient, low-hassle gaming hub. Overall, the Xbox Series S feels like a practical, no-frills console. It doesn’t try to compete at the highest graphical level, but it delivers a smooth, fast gaming experience at a more affordable entry point. If you’re okay with digital-only gaming and slightly scaled-back visuals, it’s a solid choice that does exactly what it promises. I recommend one.

I bought this (and MSFS 2024), after considerable research, for my elderly father who used to have MS flight simulator on a PC at least 25 years ago. Although I give the Xbox 5 stars, the setup instructions were next to useless as were the MS help and support pages. Important steps such as how to connect the Xbox to WiFi before attempting to get the Xbox app to link to the Console (via WiFi nearby devices!??) were missing, and reference on the MS help pages to the pressing the X button on the Console (which switches it off!) instead of the three lines button on the Controller (to skip the step) then X on the Controller to access settings button meant I had several hours of frustration before working it out for myself. In addition, if you have never owned an Xbox before, it would be helpful to have a quick printed guide (or QR code link) explaining all the buttons! After hours of going around in circles I finally got it all set up and MSFS installed and my father is very pleased :-)

I'm extremely impressed with the Xbox Series S! Despite its smaller size, it packs a punch with fast load times, smooth gameplay, and stunning graphics. The setup was straightforward, and I love the sleek, modern design that fits perfectly in my entertainment setup. The performance is excellent for both casual and more serious gaming, and the access to Xbox Game Pass offers a huge library of games at a great value. The quick resume feature is a game changer, allowing me to switch between multiple titles seamlessly. Overall, the Xbox Series S is a fantastic console that offers high performance in a compact package—highly recommended for gamers looking for quality and affordability!

this device and company turned me into an addict for more than 15 years and i thoroughly enjoyed it. i made friends with forigners and conversed with quite litterly tens of thousands of people over 15 years. ive seen things beyond reasonable comprehension, i think alot of the places ive been has given me ptsd. the ecosystem is predatory and finacially exhausting, customer support is other users, customer service is possible. 100% would recommend to make a depressing life more pleasent.

Got this for my son who was a Ps5 user. He loves it. The running speed is fast, amazing graphics and can actually play the games the console is for, unlike it's competitor. Small in size makes it easier to store. It runs almost completely silent. Only downside is that the controller does need charging alot more often the it's competitor
