PLENTY Vaporizer

OK, I've used this for vaping herb. The filling chamber is really big and is perhaps too big for many users. Those of you who vape in small quantities must buy the chamber reducer kit for an extra 19 quid. It would be best if they included this upfront.I mention this because you might think the unit isn't working. It is, in all probability, but you haven't filled it up sufficiently. Have a good look at the instruction card. It is really important information.Paradoxically for those used to portable vaporisers, this one takes longer to reach its operating temperature. Setting the right temperature is a bit hit-and-miss and will require some practice. In my experience, you have to play around with a setting between 5 and 7 until you find one you are happy with.The vapour itself is cool and easy on the throat. Frankly, I'm not a huge fan of the flavour, because everything seems to taste the same, but the vapour is real vapour and not smoke.The ash that is left behind in the chamber is neither charred nor scorched like it is with all the portable vapes I've used in the past.Having said that, the cooling coil gets really hot. It is a bit weird that it doesn't come with some sort of stand.Cleaning the unit is also important, so you will ideally need to buy a spare set of screens and a cooling pipe.In summary, this piece of kit is a class act but it has its quirks. Those quirks are sufficient to make you think that the unit is either defective or not performing very well. In all likelihood it is, and you just need to get used to it.

So ive been using vapes for many years, most come and go, but Storz and Bickel ones are in a different league.I've tried many portable vapes, but struggle to get enough of a hit out of the usually too small chambers. My Ariser Air has lasted years, but the vapor is too hot and its all gone far too quickly. A plug-in is the way to go for home vaping.I've been using a Volcano for a few years now and its truly superb. My only problem is the noise and having to replace the bags. The Plenty deals with these problems whist still providing a cool, strong hit.I love the visual temperature gauge, so you know exactly where you are, and it feels so well made, like a Dewalt. I even love the design, very German and industrial. The metal coil pipe provides cool vapor, dissipating the heat very well. Both the plastic and metal parts feel very well made, like they will last for years. Its easy to fill, with a very generous chamber, good for seasoned vapers. It heats up in moments, and switches off automatically, so no waste. There's a long power cord too, though it comes with a euro plug. A shaver adapter sorts that very quickly.Theres really nothing negative to say about this amazing piece if kit. Spares are readily available, it even comes with a grinder and spare screens.Buy one, you'll have it for years .... quality comes at a price!

A good vape with excellent air flow if a bit on the pricey side but I've saved money from not smoking tobacco which is basically killing me and i use a small handful of portable, rechargeable vapes for outdoor use. I decided to take the plunge and invest in this plug in, desktop vapeBakes my herb well enough to get me mashed.Because of its weird shape it doesn't stand upright and doesn't come with any stand so it always lays on its side but you can use the cleaning brush it comes with and stick it into one of the screw holes. Watch the YouTube demo on the vape lol.Would be nice if the temperature was kept constant for a few minutes but it cuts out on reaching your set temperature and starts to cool down unless you press the handle, a small gripe really as it rarely leaves my hand lol.Taking a draw is smooth and it's easy to draw to much and end up in coughing fits. Take it slow lol.The loading chamber is huge and if you are having a solo session and want to conserve your herb, yeah right lol, then use the small, steel circular liquid pad that also comes with the Plenty and place that on top of your herb before screwing the mouth piece to it. It will stop the herb from moving around as it bakes.After using it for a about six months now and getting used to it's quirky looks and good performance, would I buy another if it broke, yeah probably.Stay safe everyone.

Bought this to replace a volcano digit because I didn’t think S&B were willing to repair it after 12 years, however, it turns out they will, their customer service is amazing! The experience is quite different from the volcano as I find with the volcano the vapour strength varies as it fills the bag which means the bag vapes are somewhat diluted, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing , It is just how it works, with the plenty because you are drawing directly from the chamber this mixing of stronger and weaker vapes doesn’t occur so you get the majority of the content over a shorter period, in some cases it seems to be one or two big hits, I am using the chamber reducer and even then , after 2 or 3 goes after I first received it, I was utterly incapacitated for several hours, While the cano has definitely had a similar effect on me I can’t say I can recall a time when it was quite that strong! So for bang for buck this thing is an absolute beast! I’m not sure why it asks me for a rating for battery life this is not a battery powered unit, it needs mains power at all times to function so don’t buy this if you need a proper portable. The portable versions are the crafty and the mighty.
