Size:16" Long The Alpha Medical Knee Immobilizer has three preformed stays that support all the way down the back of the leg and knee. The stays are formed for an anatomical fit and greater comfort. There are rigid stays on both sides of the knee to provide greater immobilization and lateral support to the knee and leg. The entire outside of the immobilizer is hook receptive so the straps will attach anywhere on the brace. The lateral stays are also attached with hook and can be moved and arranged for correct application regardless of the user’s size.Sizing: The Alpha Medical Knee Immobilizer is universally sized meaning that it will fit around most legs big and small but there are several options for length. The Knee Immobilizer is available in lengths of 12 inch, 14 inch, 16 inch, 18 inch, 20 inch, 22 inch, and 24 inch. If you are unsure about what length is right for you ask you healthcare provider or measure your leg. The middle of the knee is where the middle of the Immobilizer will be placed.Application instructions: (initial fitting) Open All fasteners and unfold the knee immobilizer support brace. Peel the lateral stays off the sides of the brace. In the sitting position with the leg straight wrap the immobilizer brace around the leg and mark the inside and outside of the knee. Remove the immobilizer attach the lateral stays. Re-wrap the knee immobilizer around the leg and fasten the elastic straps. Adjust the straps for comfort and proper support. If there is excess material overlapping in the front of the leg the material can be trimmed. Do not trim the elastic straps.Care Instructions: Hand or machine wash with mild detergents. Air or line dry do not use dyer or iron.

works great
This brace was a little better made than the one they gave me at the doctor's office. The edges are finished and the velcro tabs are wide enough that they hold well.

Good support, but doesn't wear well
I loved it for the support--it's extremely good, and has 4 straps instead of the usual 3 that most immobilizer braces have. BUT, after just one week of wear and one hand washing (in mild detergent in cold water per the directions) the outer material started to come apart from the foam. I tried to tape it around the edges with a fabric tape so that I could keep using it (and washing it), but it didn't adhere well.

Serves my need well
It works well for me now. But when I got it it was way to wide for my child's foot. I was able to cut it down to a slim size. I'm not sure if it's intended to be that way. Other than that it works well for me now and I would definitely recommend it.

Worked on for the price
The brace gave the immobility I needed. I was not happy that the fabric at the top of the brace came undone allowing the inside supports to slide out.

It fits great can be used for children to adult.
It was for my teenager who sprained her ACL. I like that it was a true universal fit with the straps but the bars on the back of the leg keep coming out from the top but it was a simple fix just need to sow it & it was fine.

Cheap
cheaply made, the inner bars rode up and pinched my skin in the back, and one strap broke after 2 days. Waste of money cause I had to get another one elsewhere after less than a week. Cheap, cheap,cheap.

Really great! Supportive yet let's my knee bend as needed. Defiantly reccomened. Give it a try!

It's a nice lightweight immobilizer
Arrived timely. It's a nice lightweight immobilizer. Unfortunately, the ortho Dr changed his mind & didn't want my mom to use it at this time. I returned it to the Co. They were pleasant on the phone & credit was given. I would have NO hesitation getting this product in the future. It's best features are that it is not heavy & you can trim it.
