Probably about 20, laying flat. The baskets stink (literally), by the way. Also, they tip when you pull them out, so it's best to put heavier objects toward the back of the basket. I'm not very happy with my purchase. There are better quality storage cabinets out there ...

Can it be used outdoors with covered patio? Still w get somewhat wet if it's rainy and windy.
