I bought these mostly for coloring books for adults. I also like to do illustrations of my own, but am currently out of sketch paper, but I am sure they would be great for artwork as well. They color very smooth with bright colors. I love the pretty castle container they came in too. So far, have not had to sharpen them, but if they break when sharpened I will update my review. However, they seem very sturdy and a good quality so far. I only have 1 complaint, but it is minor. The container has a color guide for each colored pencil, but the colors are not even close to actual color of the pencil. No big deal, just keep that in mind if you are relying to the guide as it is very inaccurate. I definitely recommend these pencils, they were a great price and I fun to use.

Definitely not as soft as something like prismacolor, but still decently soft and very smooth. they blend very nicely too, and there is a amazing color selection! I tried erasing them with a regular eraser and they also erase well if you make any mistakes. I will definitely be using them a lot for my drawings and coloring. They work best on quality paper. They don’t break easily, box was a bit beaten up looked thrown around during shipping but none of my pencils were broken! I definitely reccomend for artists who want a good quality pencil for cheaper.

I love prismacolor products but can't afford them currently so I was looking for an affordable alternative. I certainly found it! I love these colored pencils already. They are vibrant, blend well, the led is soft but strong. It doesn't break or leave a lot of dust and it holds up a good amount of time before needing to be sharpened. Colors are clearly labeled on the pencil as well. Must buy for artists on a budget!

I got this set primarily for the case! I’ve since added a small collection of faber Castell and prismacolor premier pencils. My photo shows this collection by number and by color. I made this chart myself - it does not come with purchase.

I love Prisma and have a small assortment but since they're expensive I set out to find a good quality colored pencil for a reasonable price. I chose these based on reviews and I'm not disappointed.They're highly pigmented, very smooth, the color assortment is very good, they blend well and do not break especially when they're sharpened. I recommend a good sharpener made for soft core pencils; I use the Prisma sharpener with great results. You won't be disappointed in this set of pencils!
