Best monitor I've purchased so far. Screen seems huge at first if you're not used to it.
Great monitor. My first Acer product was an Acer Predator laptop and I was impressed with the screen, which influenced me to get this 2K monitor for my recent gaming build. The design is great. Speakers are so-so but I don't know anyone who actually uses monitor speakers. Coming from a laptop and 24 inch monitor, this monitor seemed huge my first 2 weeks. I have adjusted to it since then, but I got rid of my old 2nd monitor and just use side-by-side windows since I have enough resolution. No dead pixels or any flaws. Best monitor I've purchased so far.

Love it with an asterisk
The media could not be loaded. This is a review after 3 months of usage, spoiler alert, I’m pretty happy with it.*I bought this 27inch 1440p 180Hz (KG271U N3bmiipx) monitor for around 170 usd with offer and taxes.Pros:1. 2K, very fast 180hz refresh rate, with built in speakers for 170 USD.2. Pretty high color range (DCI-P3 95%), not verified, but to naked eye, love the vivid colour accurate display, this was important to me.3. IPS screen, meaning good viewing angles, also important for good viewing experience.4. Decent HDR for an IPS LCD budget monitor.5. Didn't notice any flickering.Reasons for asterisk:1. In standard or other modes, even when set to 100, brightness feels low in well lit environments. Turning HDR mode on solves this issue, probably because of increased peak brightness, but this makes it too bright in dark environments, you won't be able to adjust screen brightness in HDR mode. Switching between standard and HDR mode felt a little tedious.2. Overshooting is noticeable to naked eye if overdrive setting is set as extreme. Recommend setting it to minimum, or off, then it’s not at all noticeable.3. Speakers are like what you’d expect in your typical gaming monitors. Pretty mediocre, will get the job done. They lack any base or instrument clarity or separation. In movies or songs, vocals are pretty crisp, but the background music sounds pretty low. Could be solved with headphones or speakers.4. HDMI connections only supports upto 144hz.5. Lack of height adjustment for stand.6. Felt like a thick monitor, build quality is decent, all plastic, does not give you premium feels, but good for it's price. At this point you might be thinking, why did this guy give 5 stars when the cons list is bigger than pros. It's because I compared this with similarly priced Sansui ESA-G27F6Q and Arzopa M1RC side by side, and overall Acer seemed like the best pick in this price range.

Value of 4k is fantastic!
Value of product is awesome!I was looking for a 1440p monitor but this 4k was cheaper than some 1440p monitors I was looking at.It looks great! Very sharp and clear!Size is perfect for gaming!Spent 4 hours playing Space Marine 2 on it and so far very impressed. I usually play single player games so above 60hz is not necessary for me.

I am not disappointed.
Great picture when set to the right resolution (display setting in Windows) , graphic mode (set with buttons on rear of monitor, take it out of eco mode and pick the graphic mode you think works best), and set the refresh rate (set to the highest 165 in windows display settings). Videos look awesome, sharp, clear, smooth with great contrast. The high refresh rate make videos in 720 look sharper and clearer. If you decide to purchase I will save you a little effort figuring out the buttons on the back of the monitor and how to use them, since you will find nothing that does in the box. The main thing...the little round knob like button below the other buttons. It is a menu controller and by pushing it in to activate it, you can then gently push up, down, left or right on the side of the knob to move around the menu. Once you got that, figuring everything out becomes easy. But if you don't know you will end up like me having to fiddle around for fifteen minutes before catching on. The monitor base is not great but it works, just make sure that the monitor is appropriately fitted to the base. It does tilt but does not turn.I bought it for high resolution videos, and for that this monitor is great.

Good monitor, but 27in too large for me
The monitor was great, I needed something in comparison to my old cheap monitor that I accidently dropped, so I bought this monitor I can't understate for the price, this monitor feels wonderful specially coming from my old monitor.Sadly I had to return it because I realized the size was too big for my liking and instead get the 23.8 instead of 27in.Oddly enough the this part of the review was written hours after writing the part above, as soon as I sent in that I had interest to get the smaller one instead (even giving a link to it), suddenly the 23.8 became unavailable.. coincidence?

no 3.5mm headphone jack
Everything works great out the box unfortunately they said it would have 3.5mm headphone jack out but that was not the case so there is no way to get audio to speakers between my Xbox series s and this monitor without using headphones connected to the controller.
