Two Week Trial Kit

I have had a battle with my skin since I was 12. 23 years of my life. I use this once a day before bed. It does sting and burn, however my skin is so much better! Not only is my acne almost gone after 2 weeks, but the texture and pores are smoother, and overall redness is gone! I wish I had before and after. This is incredibly effective, as this was going to my last attempt before going back to the doctor. The price is high, however it is worth the cost and the bottles last. I’d suggest starting with every other day of use once a day; and working your way up. I do the 3 steps, and then use a cooling face mask (like one I keep in the freezer and reuse). Before bed I do Vaseline on my t-zone and nose and across cheeks and that has addressed any dryness I get, which has been minimal. Love this product!

This set is a winter staple for me, especially with combination skin that leans dry in colder months. It effectively keeps breakouts under control without over-drying or irritating my skin. The products work well together to maintain clarity while still feeling gentle and balanced. My skin stays calm, clear, and more even when I use this consistently, which is not always easy to find in acne-focused routines during winter. If you have combination skin and struggle with breakouts in the dry season, this is a reliable, well-formulated set.

I have Tried Everything from Proactive to Differin and nothing tops this. The large set lasted me 3 months. It’s worth the money. I had Hormonal Breakouts and I have closed comodones on my chin and this has stopped my acne almost completely. I maybe get one zit a month now.

I have struggled with adult acne and rosacea primarily on the left cheek for about 4 years now. The redness is constant. breakouts are not constant but they are consistent and happen somewhat often. I’ve tried so many products. Step by step routines, mix and matching different brands, etc . Sometimes I think I’ve found what works and my skins ok for a while and then I start to break out again. Anyways I’ve been using this product for about a week. I started using it in the middle of a really bad breakout on my problem cheek and let me tell ya I was praying for an over night miracle. That didn’t happen lol however I did start to see some improvement. The pimples themselves were not as sore and over the course of a couple days I did see a significant difference (less red, pimples much smaller, never coming to a head) . Just like other customers it did dry my skin out tremendously. I was still moisturizing nightly after applying these products and I’d wake up everyday with my skin flaking the area I was applying product to the night before. I’ll use extra moisturizer if it means my face clears up though. All in all I am happy with the results so far. If anything changes I will updated my review . Summary: Great product, sensitive skin safe, immediate results This is actually an INCREDIBLE product. The photos in the orange shirt were taken before I started using this, pink is ONE WEEK after. I immediately noticed that my breakouts cleared up quite a bit and the depth of my acne around my jaw lessened (deep hormonal acne turned into smaller whiteheads within 2 days). I have incredibly sensitive skin (niacinamide causes flare ups and rashes for me) and this product has done an amazing job of zapping acne without causing rashes! My skin texture is SO MUCH smoother (even little non acne bumps have gone away).Your skin will get a little dry and acne spots will likely be surface sensitive (as opposed to deep hormonal pain), but I think the trade offs are 100% worth it!! Make sure you pair with a good sunscreen and good luck!! I bought this trio because I have experience with other Paula products. More specifically the chemical exfoliants and have found them decent products. I am only a couple of days into the skin regime and have yet to notice significant change. I'll update this review periodically as time goe by to see if these products actually work, but less than a week in and not much of a difference. Update!! One week later!!! I posted two pictures, and I think it's clear what picture was the before! It's definitely clearing up my reoccurring blemishes and reducing redness. That being said, this stuff is harsh on fair skin so I have only used the exfoliant and acne treatment every other day. It definitely dries skin out! To combat the excessive drying, I have also used a Korean skin "acne" serum in place of the acne treatment on some days and use a Korean snail mucous face moisturizer. Honestly, I think the Korean products are necessary to keep this regime in check. Paula's products WILL dry you out. They will totally destroy the skin's barrier and it's essential you repair while treating your acne. The Korean products I have been using visibly repair my skin on the spot, correcting hyper pigmentation and redness almost immediately. I'll edit review in another week to see how things are going.

I had high hopes for this kit, as the body spray works wonders! Unfortunately my skin had a horrible reaction to these products. They caused a bright red, itchy rash all over my cheeks & forehead. Maybe my skin is just sensitive, but I had a really bad reaction to the facial cleansers.

I have tried EVERYTHING for my acne. EVERYTHING. Nuetrogena, La Roche-Posay, Differin Gel, Alba Botanica's acne dote, random stuff from the store, a mix of cetiphil soap and hibbacleanse (is that how you spell it?), and even nothing at all. Everything either gave me a permanent sunburn, made my skin peel/flake, or gave me more acne. Ever since I was 12 years old, I've been searching and searching for the right product. I think this is it. I ordered the regular strength travel size, and I love it. The first thing you will notice about Paula's Choice trial size is that it is, well, tiny. The bottles are VERY small. But don't let that get you down. I found that the small size is actually helpful, because it helps you conserve the product and not use too much, which could cause irritation. Tip: The instructions on the bottle may not always be the instructions for your skin. What I mean by this is that sometimes we all can be very tempted to follow the "use one to three times a day" instructions the brand gives us, though our skin is individual and unique and may require more or less, depending on skin sensitivity, severity of acne, etc. I started using the cleanser in the evening, then I washed with a normal cleanser the next morning, and then I used the cleanser, toner, and treatment, that evening. The next day, I started using the cleanser and toner in the morning and all three of them at night. That is what I have been doing for the past 3 weeks, and there is still about 1-2 weeks left I think in the bottles! The next thing I want to say is IT DOES NOT WORK MIRACLES! It's not going to just magically clear up your acne overnight. it's going to take time, and you're going to have to have some patience. I've been using it for three weeks and have seen some great improvement! But the first 1-4 days I didn't see much of a difference at all. I have really, really bad acne on the sides of my face and on my chin/jaw area. I get pimples a lot on my cheeks and forehead too, but the chin/jaw and sides of my face near my ears has the worst acne; with bright, big, red and very painful pimples. This acne treatment really helped prevent new pimples from forming, it made the existing ones smaller and less painful, and it makes my skin feel and look way better. I'm not really sure what the anti-redness stuff does, but the other things have helped. One last tip: Make sure you have a good face sunscreen and moisturizer before using this. Benzoyl peroxide is known to dry out your skin and make it more prone to sunburns. So, grab yourself a really great sunscreen that won't cause acne, and a moisturizer that is you a rich, and non-greasy. I use Alba Botanica's aloe and green tea moisturizer, and it is absolutely perfect with this product. Bottom Line: Get your skin used to this treatment before you use it full-on, have patience, and team it with good moisture and sun protection! I totally recommend this product, so if you're still on the fence, GET IT! The trial size is very low-commitment, and won't make your acne worse, so there's really no reason NOT to try this!
