These are the most comfortable shoes! They are like walking on a cloud. The fit is right on. They offer a lot of support and are very good looking. I wear these for at least an eight-hour day and my feet are never sweaty. Definitely worth every penny,

My feet, knees, and hips feel worlds better! Honestly, my only complaint is that I wish Brooks made men’s dress shoes. Until then, I’ll keep living in these! I purchased these shoes specifically for my daily walks where I'm aimin for 10-12k steps. At first, I purchased a 11-Wide shoe which is a bit larger than I'd normally get, but I read that some people thought they ran a little small, especially in the toe area, so I bumped up the size in the hopes it would fit well. When I received them, I found that they are still a bit tight in the toe area, but I was hoping they'd break in. However, after a week of my walks, I found that the shoes were comfortable with the exception of the toe area. I also found that at first, I had a little bit of calf pain, but that subsided after about five days and now there's zero pain when walking. I decided that I'm going to return the 11-Wides and I ordered 11.5-Extra Wides. I received those yesterday and put them through their paces today. These fit much better and are much more comfortable. The tightness around the toe area is gone and these are a keeper. I find the padding and support is very good and they're comfortable. I don't know how they'd hold up for running or jogging, but that wasn't why I bought them. They also don't look bad and I can wear them all day with no discomfort, though I typically switch shoes and only use these when I'm on my actual walks, versus general running around. These are my first shoes of this brand and I'd buy them again, but I just need to understand I need to go up about a full size and go wider if I want comfort. I knocked off a star simply because an 11-Wide should have been more than sufficient, but they were not. I've never had to buy a shoe larger than an 11-Wide my entire life until these.

These are the best fitting, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn for standing up or daily wear. (They're still not Keen sandals., but...) They support the foot and arch perfectly, and the foot imprints into the insole and forms a perfect custom fit. The traction, though the soles are thin and flat, is great, no issues. The color is great, all muted black with no extraneous colors or overly visible advertising. They are in my opinion far better than the adrenaline gts24, which made me feel like I was falling forward. The closest competitor shoe I've found is the New Balance 1080, which may or may not be better for walking depending on how your center of gravity is. P.S. Had these four months now and still the same. Only potential downside I've noticed is that the soles "poot" on hard surfaces, probably because they have fairly deep air channels in the middle of the sole that allow air to be forced out as I walk? Doesn't bother me at all.

I bought a size 11 Brooks Men's Ghost Max 2, and it fits great! I run consistently, and the mesh material held up better than the Max 1. It looks stylish and never gets blisters when I'm wearing the Max 2.

These were the most comfortable shoe brooks has made the max 2 compares with the hoka Clifton 8 9 I've read the reviews on the new max 3 and the reviews are even better than the max 2
