I was disappointed with my purchase. The package arrived opened and looked quite worn, while the string itself was dusty. This gave the impression that it had been sitting around for a long time. I had higher expectations for both the quality and presentation of the product.

Well the performance of the product is too good but strings are not too good when it comes to quality. They're too weak to hold the neck of the guitar

D'addario est une marque reconnue et son ingénierie informatique permet d'obtenir des cordes à la qualité stable d'un paquet à un autre. Ces cordes sont parfaites pour ma basse électrique 5 cordes à long diapason. Elles sont consistantes et ont une durée de vie moyenne qui reste meilleure que celle des la concurrence directe (Ernie Ball notamment). J'aurais peut-être souhaité une meilleure optimisation de la tension, les cordes graves étant plus molles que les cordes aigues, mais l'achat de deux cordes séparées règle le problème.

Replaced a set of the same string that had lost brightness due to age. Super disappointed to find that they had a dull, kind of muffled sound, less bright than the three month old strings I was replacing. Not sure whether they are defective or an illegitimate copy or some other issue. I’ve played these strings for decades, so I definitely know what they’re supposed to sound like. Even not plugged in, the dull tone was immediately evident.
