Blaupunkt GTB 8200A RCA Subwoofer System (Black)

There are two types of bass lovers:1. Those who want car shattering bass which will make its presence felt even when there is little to no bass in the audio track itself. They want the other cars on the road and neighbors to feel the bass as well.2. They want the right amount of full and wholesome bass at the right places of the audio track and wont mind if they do not hear constant thump of subwoofer in every single second of the audio track. Sadly nobody except the owner of the car who drives it will know that you have a sub-woofer installed, not your neighbor nor the passing cars.This sub-woofer falls in the second (2) category. So if you need a sub-woofer which will make the music sound more pleasing and give out the right amount of bass in the audio tracks, then this sub-woofer is for you. This is a small subwoofer by dimension and its also physically and acoustically impossible to pump out car shattering bass, but what it does is add a lovely dimension to your music which was missing till date even if you already have expensive component/coaxial speakers in your car.My experience was smooth and seamless. The sub-woofer came within the prescribed delivery date and was packaged well. I took help of the local carr electronics shop and they fitted the subwoofer in 45 minutes or so.First of all as mentioned 100s of times here already, this subwoofer DO NOT need any extra amplifier as it is built in and the amp is of good quality which helps in controlling the sound and don't let the bass kill the music. The knobs and ports are sturdy and well built.I have an aftermarket touchscreen head unit (Sony XAV 3000) which has a sub out port which was used to connect this sub-woofer. This lets you control the subwoofer amplification from within the head unit if you want. I only had to purchase a pair of RCA cable from the local shop which was not supplied with the package.Overall i am satisfied with this purchase and now music sounds much better but no my car does not shake due to this subwoofer so if you find this as a con, then stay away from it there are bigger bass tube which will give you the result you want.Con:1. The speaker seems exposed as its covered by only two metal grilles. Be careful if you put sharp objects like umbrella in the boot which might pierce the speaker.2. Wish it had supplied a pair of RCA cable as well. It cost me Rs.400 locally for 5 meters.

Blaupunkt GTb-8200A is a very capable active subwoofer for compact cars like Maruti Ignis. The built-in amplifier provides punchy, deep bass that easily fills the cabin without taking up too much boot space. Controls on the panel (Gain, LPF, Phase) make fine-tuning straightforward.Deducting one star solely for packaging: the unit was shipped directly in its retail box with broken/cut factory tape and no outer protective carton or bubble wrap. Fortunately, the subwoofer was undamaged and functions properly, but seller packaging needs improvement.

Cost effective and Due to it's compact size fits in any car 🚗, performance is also up to the mark much recommended. Personaly I feel best for car use, it has option to set the gain, phase and frequency (70 Hzto 190Hz), I have set frequency to 70Hz nd gain at 3 point (with JBL level converter) and phase at 0 point. At this setting I am getting what I was expected, soft base and no distortion.

First of all I am die hard core fan of bluapunkt products especially for speakers and stereos .. only who have used this product will come Know the power of output from this stereo..And coming to sub woofer Nice sub.. which comes with inbuilt amplifier no need of purchasing new amplifier to fit this woofer and additional two coaxial or component speaker can be connected from this sub woofer,..and coming to sound effects out put is good 200Wts feels like 1200Wts woofer for hatchback.. no heavy base which will break your head within few minuets.. mild base with no vibration inside car.. I got want I wanted from this product... thumbs up 👍

This product is costly compared to the quality and sound also is very low need a refund my money back...

Got it installed for my I20 Active for stock AVN audio player. Added a Sound Magus HTL converter for better output.

I dont know why people have had issues with this subwoofers bass quality, they are probably using cheap android auto units that are not true android auto, but just tablets.I have this hooked to the woofer output of my Sony XAV-AX5500 in my 2022 Swift. This lets me use Sony's excellent audio engineering to control my subwoofers characteristics like cross over functions etc.How i hooked it up:1. Single RCA link from black RCA female of Sony head unit to the sub woofer bass input.2. Power cables were provided by blaupunkt themselves and are good gauage.3. Ran the accessory wire from behind sony headunit, to the sub woofer as well.Settings (since most people ask this on yt)1. Sony Headunit:High Pass : 120Hz | Low Pass Offthis means my door speakers(stock cheap suzuki ones) only play above 120 hz frequencies.Subwoofer Gain: -2 (found in equalizer)2. Blaupunkt Subwoofer: Gain = Max | X-over - Max | Phase - Min (0 degree)Since i still use my stock speakers, i bumped up the high frequencies in the equalizer to get better balanced audio.PFA frequency response capture with no equalizer. Note the highs drop off since I don't have dedicated tweeters.This sub will be perfectly adequate for hatch back needs. Don't be put off by the low wattage. 75 German Watts RMS are more than 75 local Watts :)Because it is only an 8inch sub, dont expect it to shake the seats too much.

After few week of use, I did some research to control the fake bass. And comes out good.1: buy aquastic foam from amazon rs 300 cost2: open gtb 8200a, they have Polly fill at back side. Now paste the foam at least two side3: now enjoy punchy bass.For the price it’s a good product but the bass is fake and boom. Not tight n punchy. So if you love tight n punchy bass please ignore this one. Audiophile and enthusiasts please ignore as well.People who love boom bass, it’s a wonder product for them.I have adjusted a lot to reduce the bass. I put the gain only to 10% and bass to minimum at HU.

Super , peux encombrant, par contre pas trop puissant saturé vite à haute écoute sinon un bon rendu a écoute normal !

it arived at 4, I had fitted it in the boot of my 1955 ford pop hotrod, by 5 .it's the perfect size for a small car, with big enough sounds, verry pleased with this item

Es un buen Producto, tienen muy buena pegada y es compacto, en mi caso no me entraba en el hueco que tenía disponible, así que respetando cubicaje me fabriqué una caja a medida para poner en el hueco (portaesquís de un 328 cabrio) el resultado es impresionante, siento decirlo, pero mucho mejor que el equipo de serie.En el lado malo, se ve que blaupunkt no es blaupunkt, esto es un "made in china", no es de los malos, pero se ve que no es la calidad de blaupunkt de los 80.Dicho esto, por el precio, no se puede pedir más, es un sub recomendable para dar caña sin llegar a ser un cajón de subgraves puros (el tamaño manda) pero va mejor que los sub planos que se venden (que para la mayoría de aplicaciones llega, todo hay que decirlo)
