Had to replace a few controllers that broke recently,and found this amazing deal. As a gamer who games alot(like everyday,competing in tournaments even),I wasn't expecting much from these,but wow they blew me away! lol After setting them up,I finally got to play some games I wasn't able to play correctly with the other controllers I had. Really smooth response,and the cheapest deal you can get online for gaming controllers,but very good quality and awesome SNES style comfort. I will be buying more.

Best bang for buck for controllers ever.. works amazing and after a quick setup on my emulators i was experiencing Super Nintendo as I did when i was younger.. now this is not a 100% feel like original controller but it is very close to it and it is 100% FEELS when it comes to nostalgia.. ive used this on my pc and even on my android tablet with a Type-C to USB adapter and a USB hub... 10 for 10 have recommended many times and will continue to do so

I needed cheap usb controllers for a rpi retro console build and did nit want to spend a lot. These are not the greatest quality gamepads but for button smashing retro goodness they are not bad either. I got both for under $7.00 I was not expecting elite level quality, but for what they are I am impressed. These are light Snes inspired controllers. The plastic is thin but will hold up to some tough gaming sessions (example: 2 full 12 round bouts of Evander Holyfield Real deal boxing)

For full disclosure, I received a two pack of the new version of this controller for review purposes.The new black versions come with a longer built in cable, as opposed to the shorter built in and extension combo. The total length of the cable is longer with the new version, so that's a good thing.The (relatively minor, for the price) problem I had with the original version was that the D-pad wasn't great when attempting to switch directions quickly. This new version is much better in that regard. The directional buttons are stiffer, which gives them a more solid, responsive feeling. There's been a definite improvement here. Testing them out with a came like Pac-man, it's much easier to get the character going where you intend.This new version is a few dollars more expensive, but it's well worth the cost for the improved D-pad. The originals were a great value, but this updated version is even better, since they now work really well for games that require quick changes in direction. All in all, these are a great buy for your retro gaming needs.*Score updated from 4 to 5 stars to reflect the improved D-pad on this new version*REVIEW FOR ORIGINAL VERSION: I've come to believe that these types of controllers break up into two categories. The cheap ones that will have issues, and the more expensive ones where you get what you pay for. These definitely fall into the former category. They're very light in the hand, but I've gotten used to that. The buttons are nice and clicky, and really the only issue is that the directional segments of the d-pad aren't segregated, so on more fast paced games, you'll hit a direction which you didn't intend. That fact makes a controller like this almost useless for face paced games which require quick changes in movement.I'm still giving this product 4 stars, because I read that the same issue exists with similar products which are twice as much on Amazon. For slower paced games, though, these controllers work great, and at ~$9 for two controllers and two extension cables, it's a great value.

I can't believe these controllers are only $8 for two. Is the quality great, no, are very light in weight. However, they both worked immediately with my computer for me to game on. I had my father order a set and will have a friend order a set shortly as well!

The overall size of these controllers are a match for the SNES design. Buttons other than D-pad are slightly smaller, and the middle two are differently angled. Buttons are relatively sharp-edged and have snappy action, making them feel sturdy and sure.However, responsiveness may be an issue depending on the games that you play and at what level of expertise. Although the device itself reports supporting 10ms/100Hz (per lsusb -vd and cat /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices inspections), testing the input (using evhz and jstest --event /dev/input/js0) resulted in input events that were separated by intervals no narrower than 40ms/25Hz. That's too coarse for 16ms/60Hz gameplay, missing one or two frames between responses. I tested my Logitech F310 and got 4ms/250Hz from the knobs and 8ms/125Hz from its shoulder triggers, and 4ms on its D-pad, so this seems like a limitation of these pads, not of my computer. Perhaps there's an advanced tweak to encourage these pads to perform at 10ms/100Hz, but short of that, they are unsatisfactory for frame-perfect game play and they will not replace my F310 for games where I would much prefer a thin and simple pad.

I was hesitant to buy this because the lower ratings. But I wasn't looking for anything expensive, I just wanted to play one my favorite classics with it. For the game I used it on, it's close enough to the original SNES controller for me. Good low price, and I am not having any issues with controlling my game character and the game responding exactly how it should with the controller. Controller feels comfortable to use, can't even remember what the original SNES controller felt like, but I can't imagine it feels much different.

I bought these in black, eventhough I wanted a more original colour, but the reviews were so good I got these and spend a little bit more. Not disappointed ! These feel very good, nice sturdy light weight controller, good buttons and excelent D pad. Great for normal and small hands, might be less for bigger hands I suspect. Highly recommended.

Due bellissimi controller in stile "super nintendo" dal cavo lungo 3m.Li ho comprati per utilizzarli con il mio PixelGamer che fa girare un retropie di cui non conosco la versione.Si programmano benissimo, sono leggeri e i tasti non sembrano dare problemi, funzionano e sembrano gestire tutti gli imput senza problemi. 👌

Good pair of controllers, detected & worked with no problems. Nice long cable. Would recommend at the price.
