Philips AZ380/94 CD Soundmachine

Bought one unit for the elder sister of my mother-in-law. Copied devotional songs and speeches by Chaganti Koteswara Rao for her in a USB stick. She is so much enjoying this device and is so happy with me purchasing this for her.Based on her experience, I bought two more of these devices for other old ladies in our family.We must realize that our parents are from a generation not used to smartphones and computers. What they need is a simple device that can play music with few button clicks just like how it is with tape recorders from old days.

Bought this for Dad. I recommend this for those who needs a easy to use music player with just a few button clicks,The build quality is good feels like a premium product, The sound Crisp and Clear. if u increase the volume above 80% it will start to vibrate but still it wont distort.CD: Works good, the only problem is no resume functionality. if u turn off, it will play from beginning,USB: This reads only older USB drives USB 1.1. it is mentioned in the user manual.. my Sony 2.0 drive is not working with this. tried with an older usb drive it Worked..Radio: FM is good but AM (MW) is terrible won't pick up any stations. yes of course it depends on ur location and Electrical devices interfering it but still my old school Philips radio picks up MW signals better than this.It can run on Batteries too, This uses 6 C cell LR14 batteries which is hard to find in shops and its costly too, so if u rely on batteries then I recommend to get any rechargeable batteries with charger

This item meet our expectation. Especially we were looking for an item to give it as a gift to my father in law. One of the previous customer reviewed that this is an user friendly device in terms of settings they have provided and easy for them to handle. This made us to select this item for purchase. Sound quality is also good. There is a button called program which helped to change the music selection from folder to folder if it is pen drive. All together I feel it is an all in one device at a nominal price as compaired to the medium segment in the online market.

Decent item at this price range. Plays any CD, can play songs from Pen drive, and from phone through Aux cable. Volume is decent, not a boom box exactly.... Might not be enough for playing music in a party. However, decent enough for listening to music. FM is not very clear, however decent enough. As I said, decent item at this price range. While playing music from pen drive, it shows only folder number in the display, and the track number. So you can't view the track or the artist......

Purchased this a year back. The features of this product are good, but FM reception is poor and we have to keep on tuning it again and again. The CD player and USB ports are good, no issues with that. I found the sound quality to be good as well keeping in my the price.Overall I am not happy as I expect a good durable product from Philips without issues but using FM is very painful task.

Very good for the money. It has all the features, I was looking for.Pros:Very good voice clarity,All of its features are working as described,Cons:When you use Pen drive, read the manual, it supports only those formats mentioned.There is a problem with file names in pen drive. If file names are too long (including folders), it won't play continuously!!! It stops for every few seconds.This is not mentioned in the manual. I tried so many times and placed songs in one folder or in directly in pen drive and gave very short names. Then it worked fine.Overall, this item is superb. I liked it.

I bought for my father in law and he is very happy with it as he is very fond of old Hindi songs. He has been using this for couple of months. This gift is very special to him as he is very particular about quality of sound and this music system fulfills his needs. CD , USB playback is nice and easy to operate. Though it get bit noisy if we try to listen songs on full volume but I think it is excellent choice to listen old Hindi or soft songs.
