Genuine Winix Filter A +PetGuard for C535, 5300-2, P300,5300

Correct parts, easy install, works properly.

I own 3, yes 3 Winix air purifiers (Two 5300 and One 5300-2). I own the (2) 5300 air purifiers since 2015 and I run them 24/7. I own the 5300-2 air purifier since 2019. All three air purifiers use the same model filter (115115 or Filter A) so I only have to buy one type.I guess my house is dirty since I seem to have to replace the main filter every 10 months on all three units. Over the years I have purchase genuine Winix replacement filters and generic brand filters and from now on, I will be sticking to Winix replacement filters. The generic brand filters may or may not fit nice and snug inside the purifiers. I had some generic brand filters that left small gaps and dust was going around the filter. I had dust forming on the fan blades even when the replacement filter was snug. The air quality seems to vary as well.The genuine Winix replacement filters was a lot more consistent with fitment and air filtration. I just bought a new house and replaced all the filters with genuine Winix replacement filters for all three units. The fitment was perfect and the air quality coming out was nice clean air.So yes you can save money with going with generic brand filters but you don’t get the consistency with fitment and air filtration. Yes, the genuine Winix filters are expensive, trust me I don’t like the price either but you get what you paid for. For the record, over the years I’ve bought (6) genuine Winix filters and (6) generic brand filters.

I have pets and this has made a great difference in filtering the room

These Winix Hepa Replacement Filters with 4 Carbon Filters usually last around 10-12 months depending on how often you clean the Air Purifier, the Hepa Filter and the Pre-Filter, and how dusty your area/home is. I have to admit we aren’t the best at keeping things dusted, but we do try and keep the filters and machine clean around every 3-5 weeks and in the beginning the Hepa would last just over a year. Now that it’s over 9 years old I get about 9.5-10.5 months, which is still great and as long as I can keep getting Hepa & Carbon filters delivered to our door. Definitely recommend if you own a Winix Air Purifier.

There are five carbon filters which are sheets, they are not the same as in the original product where the carbon filter was enmeshed in a plastic grid. The original filter lasted a long time, not sure how long this will last. The carbon sheet filter sheet needs to be trimmed. The HEPA filter is little big, but can be squeezed in

Several negative reviews say these are fake or imposter filters. I'm 99.9% sure they are genuine. (It's impossible to be 100% sure.) First of all, they are coming from the WINIX store. They come in a box that has WINIX name and bar codes. There is no hint of a fake filter.I have a 5300-2 WINIX air filter. The new HEPA filter is thicker than the original, and it has a different part number. The original was 0038 and the new one is 0040. I was initially concerned it would be too thick to fit, but it fits perfectly. The carbon filters look just like the originals, in the same high quality zip-lock bag.I would not hesitate to buy these again.

I bought a number of the Winix air cleaners when they were on sale. The whole machine was less than a single Plasmawave replacement filter. Then there were the fires in Paradise and elsewhere and the air quality became so bad my smoke alarms were going off. For a fire 200 miles away. Fortunately I had the Winix air cleaners installed and they did a great job. I have a laser particulate measuring system for air quality (for arguments with my wife- totally worth it!) that showed indoors the air quality was several hundred fold better than outdoors for the two particle sizes. counted. The carbon coated filters need replacing every few months as they prefilter the dog hair and general linty things floating about. The HEPA filters filter out the micron range bits. After a year you can visibly see the filter color darken as it loads up on schmutz too small to see (lasers can count them without a problem). A lot of that is pollen and other stuff you dont want to think about. So once a year they get recycled. I went for the original Winix because sometimes other brands dont fit right (the seal has to be air tight around the filter or you defeat the purpose of the filter). And I know for certain the Winix filters work because I tested them, so its worth a few extra bucks once a year to use filters I can count on. The whole family gets allergy shots so this helps keep the air inside as healthy as possible. A couple of times a year the pollen is so thick you need to wash it off your car so if thats a problem, this is a solution.

I had been feeling stuff and once I changed the filters... what a difference. Winix air purifiers are great and the filters are so easy to change

if you don't get the fit of the filters right you end up with guck in your motor - which will make the unit burn out that much faster, I chose to go with the brand name to avoid that, and liked the package and how sturdy it was and how the fit of the filters is spot on, For me, its worth the extra money.

Description led me to believe it was suitable for my model but it didn’t fit.

Just found these on Amazon. Such a good price. I’ve been buying these from a store in town for the last few years and they work great!

This is a filter for a specific air purifier. It is the only one that I know of, so it, in my opinion, is the best. THe picture is of a dog, as I don't have a picture of the filter.
