Worked perfectly well on two Tesla Model S on which I tried it: one a late 2013 and another a late 2016 model. Used to connect to a Bluetooth module streaming to ScanMyTesla.

The cable looks well made with a strain relief at the boot of the OBD connector. The splitter ends in the 12-pin or 16-pin diagnostic port in most of the Teslas out on the market. The port is working with Scan My Tesla app for diagnostics of the main battery. This is a great adapter if you want to use any OBD scanner tool.
