Tea Fete de Versailles

Such a delicious and luxurious tea. The tin is gorgeous and looks great on my kitchen counter. Would make a wonderful gift for a tea lover as well. This is a step up from other teas I’ve purchased. I’d buy again ~

It's a taste judgement, so who knows? Big fan of Marie Antoinette. Like Paris, I Love You quite a lot. Figured I should give this one a go but maybe it's a "whimsy" tea? Comes across like tea with candy cane bits or something to my taste. Doesn't mean it might not be your thing.

Beautiful packaging and a very delicious tea. Very smooth. Brewed at 195 for 2 minutes with cream and sugar and it was absolutely wonderful!

Most Christmas teas are just differing proportions of cinnamon and clove, usually with some orange. Do you want to know what this one is like? Get a really juicy sweet orange, maybe a mandarin. Peel it slowly, close enough for the juice to spritz your face. Close your eyes. Breathe in deeply, and you will know what this tea smells like and tastes like. There is also a candy-like sweetness to the scent from the floral aspect. The orange is so natural, without a hint of anything artificial. Don't think of this as just a Christmas tea. The snowy white tin with starry gold filigree is beautiful. The absence of cinnamon and clove make it more multiseasonal to me. I will be serving it for my New Year's Day tea time. The black tea base is strong enough to stand as a breakfast tea, fancy enough to be an afternoon blend. I wonder how it would taste sweetened and iced. That will be my next experiment!

I really had high hopes for a very flavorful tea. This taste mostly of black tea, very little additional flavoring. I would say for the price, maybe take a pass.

The smell made me feel like a princess! The taste made me feel like a queen! Though my cats brought me back to reali-tea pretty fast. Oh well...still have some great tea to enjoy.
