I'd buy them again.
These work great... if you have permanent markers. I love shrinky dinks! These work great with permanent markers, but I wish they could be done with colored pencil like the ones I used to know. They do curl up when heating, but ALL OF THEM DO. YOU MUST WAIT for them to lay back out flat. But they always do.

These Shrinky Dinks are the best! My granddaughters 7
These Shrinky Dinks are the best! My granddaughters 7, 5, 4, 3, & 2 love them. The little ones don't necessarily color in the lines but love it when their cut out images roll up in the hot toaster oven and then flatten to a hard image for a necklace or just a bobble. I put them on a piece of aluminum foil and set the toaster over for 5 minutes and bingo! Its a fun project and keeps them busy and focused!

Creative Magic
This worked great. We printed patterns on plain paper and 8 year old spent hours tracing and coloring. Then we shrunk. Looked online for tips. We lined baking sheet with parchment then covered items with parchment. Then we put a wire rack over. 3 minutes later we had charms!

because I thought that would print the best. I reversed the image
I bought this because I read you could use them with a laser printer. I did that with our monochrome printer and it worked. My only problem was, I purchased Matte, because I thought that would print the best. I reversed the image, but when they shrink, they are only visible on the printed side, not through the completed item, because it's the matte finish. Please keep that in mind when creating the item, if you need to be able to read anything, don't reverse the item. And it worked in a laser printer, but I did read you should not use them with an ink jet. I also used permanent markers, and they worked great as well.

Good and fun, but not great if you are trying to print images.
So, this is fun to use but it didn't work for what I wanted to do. Even with sanding it using fine grit sand paper, I still couldn't print on it. In the end, I went with the ink jet printable version and it worked amazingly well! I am so pleased with the results!!

Read my tips first !
Rough up the plastic w/ scissors 1st so you can use colored pencils! Make sure to shrink on top of a piece of cardboard at 250° -and it works PERFECTLY!

Great stuff, very fun to use
Extremely effective and easy-to-use stuff. But I do warn...........it does NOT keep images on it if they get a lot of friction. :( Best to be used for low-contact items.

ottimo
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, spedizione un po' lunga (non lo sapevo ma arriva dalla Giamaica!!) ma i tempi di attesa sono compensati dal prezzo che è la metà rispetto agli altri venditori.

So much fun!
I've had so much fun using this product. It does have a learning curve to it and, after 6 tries, I managed to make some quite impressive pins. The texture is smooth, so I would recommend to sand one side first (the side to be coloured), I used 100grit sandpaper. I tried a bunch of different types of markers - sharpies work, but the results aren't good, found out that colouring pencils work best (do not use watercolour pencils though, as they might run if a water-based sealer is applied), plus Faber Castell's Pitt line of markers also works great on the surface, but the black markers are the best for linework. This paper shrinks to 44% of the original size, and drawing portrait-wise will squish the final look of the piece. I really liked to use this product and I would recommend wholeheartedly.

Not good quality
The plastic curled easily and when it was fully shrunk, it was still thin and opaque. It lacked the glossy finish to other similar products. I would not buy this again.
