Psychological suspense at its best with a chilling premise that keeps you guessing.
Message Deleted ( 5/5 )Psychological suspense at its best with a chilling premise that keeps you guessing to the last page.Saffy was waiting to go into a job interview when she recieved three text messages from her best friend, Leona : Can't speak.... don't text or call... please just come. Saffy struggled to understand the meaning but the phone's screen changed : This message was deleted. When she went to her house, Leona was acting normal and she denied of sending any messages to her. Leona asked her to go home. After sometime, the police arrived at Saffy's house to interview her because she was the last person to see Bannatyne family before they all disappeared. This is just the one layer of this carefully crafted psychological thriller in which the suspense is at its peak. I loved each and every character of this story especially the bond between the two sisters Poppy and Saffy. Although other characters are very good.Told from three POV's of Poppy, Saffy and Leona ( although she has a few chapters of her POV ), narration of the story is brilliant and keeps you reading to the last page.Overall, it's a masterfully crafted psychological thriller and it's a must read.
