Power Grip Carving Chisels Sets, Five Piece Set by MIKISYO (Japan Parallel Import)

I work in mixed media and was looking to upgrade my Lino cutters and I found these were so much better than my old ones .They are sharp and cut well plus they are comfortable to hold .The plastic pouch is great and keeps them together and organised . So far only had a little play with them but I am impressed and feel that they are good value and will add to my arty kit . I don’t yet know how sturdy they are as I haven’t used them much .

Good design, very sharp and fit for purpose.

I can only reiterate other comments. These are sharp chisels. They cut cleanly out of the box. It make a pleasant change from having to spent a hour or so sharpening and flatting chisel before they can be used. But they are a bit over hardened, so they will chip with moderate pressure. Having said that, they shave fine slithers really well and allowed me to finish a carving in very hard oak without recourse to sharpening. Good valve.

Chisels came with great, long lasting sharp edges. They enable me, despite being inexperienced, to achieve a reasonable result when carving bookends. They have proved easy to maintain too.

Brilliant fast delivery of a product which is of the highest standard. Immediately I started to use the tools I knew that my print making will show the influence of using well designed carving chisels. Thank you.

Very sharp out of the box, clever packaging. Very small which was what I wanted, but be aware of their size. Great quality Japanese product

I like these a lot as I was looking for them a long time. Very good for very close work.

I've had these tools for a while now and realise that I could have chosen a better range by buying them individually. The box is not the best quality but is useful in separating them so that they remain sharp. I have since purchased additional tools on printing websites where I've seen you can buy this box set more cheaply.
