Osprey Daylite Plus Commuter Backpack - Lightweight, Everyday Pack with Laptop Sleeve and Water Bottle Pockets - Ideal for Work, School, and Travel with Versatile Storage, Blue Spikemoss/Alkaline

This is by far my favorite day pack I’ve ever owned. First of all, the Osprey brand is known for quality construction. Whenever you purchase something made by Osprey you can rest assure it will hold up against time and if not, they back all their products with an outstanding warranty. I made a trip to Puerto Rico earlier this year and needed a bag that I could lug around with me throughout the day while keeping my gear organized and forcing me to travel fairly light. I debated on a lot of other options before landing on this one. I am not disappointed. There’s a laptop sleeve a large main pocket a small top pocket water bottle holders expandable stuffed pouch in a small outer pocket on that. Main reason I got this is because it had both a chest strap and adjustable waist strap. The main pocket has one of those quick clap mounting points for a water bladder. I was able to fit so much stuff with me while still traveling light but had everything I needed for a day in the city and on the beach at the same time. Also, one of the pockets has small organization pouches within it, along with a leash for your wallet or keys. The color is fantastic and I deliberately went with something lighter colored to avoid baking too much in the heat and sun. The size is also perfect for a personal item on an airplane fits nicely underneath the seat in front. The zippers have nice finger holes for easy opening, but I also attach a small S Beaner for extra protection against big pocketing. When researching bags I was originally looking for something ultralight and super collapsible while this one does not collapse or fold into itself is still quite portable and packable on its own with great support. Sure it was a little bit more expensive than competition, but I have no regrets because it’s outstanding quality and checked all the boxes.

I really like this backpack. It’s well made and well thought out. It’s light and opens up to fit quite a few items. It has an extra strap on the waist to alleviate your back so you’re not having everything on your shoulders. It has two side stretch pockets one each side to put a water bottle or something else. It has a front pocket that opens up for small quick to get to items. It can expand to accommodate more products or you can compact it with less items. All in all that’s a great backpack for a short trip, for hiking or for travel. I purchased the rust color. I like it. I would definitely not lose it. The zippers quality is great. It has a little plastic pull to make it easy to open and close.

Good lightweight secondary backpack, especially if you want something smaller than a full everyday carry bag I bought the Osprey Daylite Plus as a smaller secondary backpack for days when I do not want to carry my full everyday carry bag. For reference, I am about 5'10" and around 210 lb, and I included photos so buyers can get a better idea of how the bag looks when worn. My main use case for this bag is light laptop carry, bike commuting, gym/library trips, errands, and travel daypack use. I mainly wanted something between a full-size backpack and a packable string bag. After receiving it, the color looked better than I expected. I was worried it would look too grey or dated, but in person it looks cleaner and more usable than I thought. The size makes sense for what this bag is. It is not a huge backpack, but it looks roomy enough for a 14-inch laptop, keys, a water bottle, a light jacket, and a few extras. That is exactly the type of load I wanted this bag for. I would not treat it like a heavy-load everyday carry backpack, but for lighter days it seems much more convenient than bringing a larger bag. The back panel is comfortable for light carry. It is not a heavy-load backpack, but that is also the point. The Daylite Plus works best when it is kept light and used as a compact daypack instead of being packed like a full 30L everyday carry bag. The back panel feels more structured and breathable than a basic school backpack, but it is still a lightweight daypack first. One thing I like is that it feels more portable and easier to grab than a larger framed backpack. Larger backpacks can be more comfortable under heavy loads, but they are not always convenient when you just need a laptop, water bottle, jacket, and small accessories. The Daylite Plus feels better suited for those lighter situations. Overall, I think the Daylite Plus is a practical secondary backpack. It makes the most sense if you want a smaller bag for light laptop carry, errands, short trips, gym/library use, or travel. It is not the bag I would choose for a full heavy school or work loadout, but that is not really what it is trying to be. For a 20L daypack, it fills the role well.

Ordered this backpack for a hiking trip at Glacier. It’s on the small side but holds an impressive amount of stuff! The best thing about it are the water bottle pouches on the side. They’re incredibly stretchy and held large water bottles - which we needed for days we did 10+ miles. Also love the chest and hip straps, which helped redistribute the weight. The backpack itself is super-light, but with 2 big water bottles and all our gear, it got heavy! But with the chest and hip straps fastened, it was completely comfortable and my shoulders never got sore or tired. I can’t say it’s waterproof but it’s definitely water resistant. We got in a fairly heavy downpour one day and all of our stuff stayed dry.

Great daily carry backpack. I use it for work to carry my office with me. Side pockets easily hold a 32oz nalgene and don't stretch out holding it. Inside layout is just what I need and nothing extra. Holds a lot more than I thought. Easily carries a 14" laptop in the padded sleeve, a zipper bag for chargers and cables, a 14" portable display in a protective sleeve, couple notebooks, ID badges, pens, small first aid kit, sunglasses case and can carry a lot more. Material is nice. Wears well and is comfortable to carry everything in. I expect it to last me and years like my other osprey bags I've tried. Only a few slight downsides. None are a deal breaker for me though. Will be keeping this pack until I wear it out. - I wish the secondary compartment with the organizer pockets had a couple pen slots in them. - The backpack does not stand up on its own, has to lean on something. - The shoulder straps could be a little longer and I wish it had a normal set of straps and top handle instead of the yoke harness.

This is a great lightweight, high-quality day pack. I used it while attending class, and it was perfect for carrying the essentials. The hydration sleeve also worked well to protect my small laptop. The main compartment has enough room for a large binder, but not much beyond that, so don’t expect it to replace a full-size backpack. The two smaller pockets are handy for accessories, and the zippers feel durable and well made. Overall, it’s an excellent day pack.

Excellent, well designed backpack. It's sturdy and fits my 5'1" tall wife. Osprey backpacks have good zippers and useful packets. Not a huge carrying capacity, too small for multiday trips on its own, but good for light use.

機内持ち込みでパスポートに財布やスマホなど入れるのに機能的に出来ている。サイズもデイライトやファーポイントシリーズに付属のバッグの13Lのように小さすぎず、適度に荷物が収められます。ファーポイントシリーズにジョイント出来るという説明はあるがどのようにすれば良いかが全く書かれていないので試しようがない

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Comodissimo e adatto a lunghe camminate senza sentire quasi il peso sulle spalle. Finiture curate e piccoli dettagli (come il fischietto integrato) veramente apprezzabili. Lo consiglio se non serve particolare spazio. Adatto anche cone bagaglio a mano.

Beautiful well made backpack. All the straps are adjustable making it really comfortable even when it's heavy. You can actually make the weight distribute mostly to the hips. The colour is gorgeous. I'm very happy with my purchase, worth every penny. It's on the smaller side but still fits a good amount of stuff.
