Great for casual use
I bought this product about a month ago so my wife could help me with some partner drills. The handle is a bit longer than most paddles I’ve tried (about 4-5 inches) which is great because it gives her the feeling of distance and there’s safety in that. It makes a great noise when you hit it right which I love and the band around the handle is actually useful for the holder. Not so much so they don’t fly out of their hand when you’re punching but for if you only take short breaks in between rounds - your partner doesn’t have to put them down and pick them up all the time.Only reason I give it 4 stars is I’ve only had these a month and have used them maybe 5 times. One of the stitches is already coming out. The stitches are thick so it’s not a problem to just pop it back in and tie off but shouldn’t be happening in the first place. Otherwise, great product for the price. If you plan on using these everyday I’d go for something more durable.

Very nice quality target paddles
I have never owned target paddles before getting these but I have focus punching mitts. I have read that the target paddles is supposed to be more safer for the holder than focus punching mitts from the constant hits. It is easier on the joints from all the punches for the holder. Its feels nice to hit on and to strike. Because I like to strike with kicks, knees and elbows, I think it will be safer for the holder. Not just safer on the holder's joints on hard kicks but also having the little bit extra safe distance to take kicks. I will definitely switch back and forth between my target paddles and target mitts. Always good to change it up and change styles (boxing, muay thai). Before I order, I felt more confident in the target paddles quality from valleycomfy when I saw that valleycomfy also sell target mitts that were pretty highly rated among its user reviews. I figured that if they made good mitts, it probably means that they can make highly rated target paddles. I like the quality and the performance of the paddles. I expect it to last a long time too.

Perfect for our needs!
My son is really into taekwondo. He has plenty of tools at home that allow him to practice on his own, but he needed targets (and an assistant!) to practice higher kicks. These targets are perfect for our needs. They’re good quality, durable and easy to hold. I like that they have a strap so there’s no risk of one getting accidentally kicked across the room and into something if I happen to lose my grip. Using these together on a regular basis has helped my son improve his kicking form, height and accuracy. Very happy with these targets. Highly recommend.

Must have for coaches
I purchased these as a shoulder saving alternative to regular focus mitts. They seem to be of great quality and on par with other options offered at Ringside or Title. They should hold up for a long time and even with a lot of use. And yes they will save your shoulder and give your athletes another target for cross training purposes.
