This little device is helping me sort out the color of fabrics I'll be using in my wedding, finding matching thread for other sewing projects, finding the paint touch-up colors inside and outside my house, and anything else I can think of. Who knew there could be so many variations of the color "periwinkle"! Now I know precisely and for certain. I knew this type of device existed but I've never found one at the right price and functionality until I came across this one. It's portable, compact, and easy to use with the app on my phone. Just put the sensor on the surface and press the button. The reading comes up in the app, and you can even organize and store the values in folders. Love it. Note: you cannot use this device to calibrate your computer monitor, but I didn't need it for that purpose.
