Hard To find but it works
This works great on fabric . They advertised it as a leather repair but don't bother, leather is not going work work with this product, I like it for cloth repairs and for fabric, nothing beats it - unless you use needle and thread. I gave it five stars and I have used this product on clothing repairs (jeans, shirts etc) the best product on the market for cloth !

This stuff is fabulous
I have used this glue on so many things I can't even tell you. I had a ring with a large plastic "flower" that completely came off of the ring base, and I just kept adding layers of this glue as it dried until the pieces adhered to each other, and I wear it all the time without incident. Amazing. I had some gowns that had facings that kept "flopping" out, so I added a dab to each corner of the facings, and the job was done!! They are washed all the time, and have never come undone. I have glued clothes, shoes, household items and just about anything you can think of. the important thing is to think of this glue first before trying other glues. I even purchased an extra one to have in case they quit making this stuff!! I can't vouch for the glue which is included to add baubles to clothes, as I haven't used it, and, in fact, I couldn't get it out of the container because the bottle is too unforgiving to push it out. But I could care less about that one--I only care about the larger bottle.

Works as promised!!
I used this product to glue down some vinyl tile that would not stick, glued together loose ends of some strip insulation, and repaired an old wood toy. This glue did the job. I found it easy to use. You have to press with some force to get the glue out of the bottle, but the closure does keep the glue from sealing itself up, so the product stays fresh. The glue comes out in a thin stream, easy to work with, just be patient.

Its OK.
I like it but with a lot of things its more of a temporary fix. Some things hold up others dont, Clothes that move a lot dont tend to stay fixed. Jewels on headbands, fine. I also had to throw the bottle away because it got dried up even with the lid on it kind of mended itself all together. So good to around for temporary fixes but not a everyday permanent use.

Mighty mendit versus sewing... No brainer!
I bought mighty mend it for comforters that were coming loose at the seams. It worked very well. It lasts through machine washings if you wait 24 hours for it to dry. Also worked well on couch cushions that got a lot of use and were coming apart. I used a clothes pin to keep it pinched closed for a bit, although I probably wouldn't have had to. It did leave a bit of clear residue, but I may have used too much. I've loaned to it a friend to try on jeans and she really liked it too. Obviously, some things require sewing so you have to use common sense, but for fast & easy mending, it has my vote!

I found that out of all the products I used MM held the best. I have been wearing my leather vest every ...
Read an article somewhere about using it for embriodered patches on leather. Most people say the only successful way is to sew them. I ordered several products including MM. I found that out of all the products I used MM held the best. I have been wearing my leather vest every day for about 3 weeks under another coat and so far, all the patches that i used MM on have held just fine. I took extra precaution when attaching them by keeping pressure on the patches (a stack of books) for about 24 hours before attempting to wear the vest. I have been intentionally hard on the vest since I am breaking it in (new leather) and "testing" how well the patches hold. Time will tell but as of this writing I am pleased with the results. The top does get "gunked up" like other reviews mention and takes some pressure to use but not a huge deal. I opened the bottle last night after it sat around for a couple weeks to repair a belt loop on some jeans and after clearing the top, it worked fine. Loop seems to be holding so far as well.

Arrived damaged
I don't know how it works- 1 star, 2, 3 or more ???? When I opened the box it had leaked, evidently the top hadn't been screwed on properly. And when I tried to exchange it, this was the message I got on the Amazon return screen: " For safety reasons, items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned to Amazon.com. Customers should dispose of hazardous materials according to Local, State and Federal regulations. Customers should contact their local government or local waste company for directions on how to dispose of Household Hazardous Waste. " What a let down because if I had bought it at a brick & mortar retail store, exchange would have been no problem. I guess I'll have to eat this selection. At least I wasn't out of pocket since this was part of a purchase using a gift certificate, but when buying something like this, Caveat Emptor- ( Buyer beware )

Very Pleased
For the first time ever I am actually pleased with a product sold on infomercials!! The canvas on my boat required restitching in a few places in order not to leak when it rains. A professional would have charged me mega bucks so I opted to try the Mighty Mend-it. I layed the canvas on the dock, identified the weak areas, overlapped the edges, applied the Mighty Mend-It, pressed down firmly for about 20-30 seconds, wiped up any overage until I was finished with the whole canvas. I then let the whole canvas sit in the sun for 2 hours, refit it on the command bridge, got the hose out (said a couple of hail Mary's) :-) and let loose. Not a DROP of water got through the canvas!! This stuff can be a bit messy to work with if you have never used it before, the trick really is to follow the directions and use sparingly and then cleanup is a snap. Hope this Helps John Avery
