Well,yes: the iPhone 5 uses the lightning cable and the type C plug/adapter works with the Samsung and, I would ASSUME with anything that has a type C port. And they're inexpensive.

Does this slow down charging?

Tbh yes. I only got 5V 1A when I tested it with a usbc-lightning cable vs the 9V 2A on a normal USB c to USB c cable.

can it work for charging iPad pro 2020?
