The media could not be loaded. The Altec Lansing Magnetic Bluetooth Speaker HYDRAJOLT 2.0 is a great speaker that will withstand a beating and go anywhere you need it to! Mount it, clip it, stick it! as the product page says. And that is true, I am happy to say! Claims to be waterproof and will allegedly float in water. Although I didn't want to purposely throw it in water to find out, I would definitely feel more confident taking it with me in potentially wet conditions.This thing is well constructed and comes in a plastic container package that itself is pretty cool and well constructed. Included are accessories you would need for this to be mounted to a bike, for example, or clipped with a carabiner to whatever you want to clip it to. The mounting bracket is made of hard plastic with metal screws and I was able to tighten it well but didn't want to keep going for fear of cracking it. It may move slightly if going on a bumpy ride but that, for me, is to be expected. The bottom of the speaker also has a very strong magnet, so I can stick it to my work bench at home or work. Nice!Love the LED accent light that has several modes and lots of colors. The light can also react to music.Another nice feature this speaker boasts is that it can be used as a portable charger. I cannot find the mAh rating for the battery anywhere but says it can be used for up to 16 hours, although I'm sure it is safe to say that will be dramatically reduced if you utilized this function.Now after all those super nice features, let's talk about the sound. Not bad at all but far from the best. I've tested it with my preferred musical tastes that are usually a good indicator of premium sound coming from a speaker, those being metal and hard techno, which cover a wide variety on the sound spectrum. The highs are a bit tinny, without a super punch bass. That is not to say that this speaker doesn't sound good but doesn't compare to, say, JBL.Overall, with the price of this speaker being a great value, and the practicality of it, I would definitely recommend this for those who really want to take a decent speaker literally anywhere and rock out for hours!

This is a nice portable speaker that is designed to take anywhere. It’s an ideal size to toss in a beach bag, etc. and has several mounting options for maximum convenience and utility. The speaker comes with a bracket suitable for attachment to anything that has a small rod like a bike handlebar, a beach wagon, stroller, etc. The speaker itself securely twists onto the bracket. It also comes with a carabiner to clip on to something like a bag. If I have something metal, there is a built in magnet that allows it to stick firmly. That’s super handy when I’m grilling and want to stick it to the side of the grill or gazebo. The battery lasts a long time for me, only needing rare charging. I liked how easy it was to pair with my phone. It always connects automatically after the initial pairing. It is completely waterproof and ready for use in any environment. It’s my go-to that I carry with me everywhere I want music because of its size and quality sound.

Sound is very good and the magnet is more powerful than I expected. it stays where I put it, even in my old car.

The sound is good, the battery life while new it's pretty good, lasted for more than 3 rounds of golf. Not too complicate to connect two speakers.The magnets are weak. One speaker came loose falling off the golf cart with a little bit of bouncing.The carabiners are not a good fit, they are too wide and hardly fit in the hook, when the speaker fell off the cart, the hook broke. I changed the carabiner for a smaller one that fits better. Too late for the speaker with the now broken hook. The factory carabiners should be thinner and maybe longer, and the hook sturdiest.
