Tefal Everest Frying Pan with Thermospot, Aluminium, Stone Effect, 24 cm

Not even comparable to my old frying pan. It doesn't warp, even when washed with cold water right after using it. For a long time, it washed clean just with water flow without even having to use a sponge. I have to use a sponge now (nearly a year later), but it still just needs a light touch without a need to scrub. It still retains the anti-stick coating after all this time. Can imagine this will last me for years.

I've had a 30cm Tefal Everest pan for a couple of years now, and it's lasted so well that I decided the other day to replace my very old and worn standard Tefal heat spot pan. The base of this one is thick and very sturdy, and overall the pan is thick too, with steeper sides than my old Tefal one. I haven't gotten the 'Thermospot' illuminated thus far, as the pan was at a perfect temperature to fry some onions and I didn't see the need in heating it further, so I can't confirm how well it works for gauging temperature, though maybe me not needing it says enough. The handle is heat resistant, and can be put in the oven up to 175°, which although decent isn't something I'll have much use for, as I like to finish thicker steaks at a higher temperature, though I may give it a go for 5 or so minuted at about 200° at some point.The surface is incredibly resistant to food sticking to it, with a minimal amount of oil everything just slides effortlessly around. As long as you respect the surface and don't throw cold water in it after using, or use abrasive utensils/cleaning tools then it'll last years and years.

I was fed up using extra large frying pans so bought this and it’s perfect sizing but like all tefal pans the handles always feels a little loose and it won’t tighten up

Excellent product. I already have a similar but larger frying pan of this design so had no hesitation in buying the same one when I wanted a smaller pan. Does everything it claims and so easy to clean. Will go in dishwasher, I usually use top rack.Recommended.

This is a great sturdy frying pan with a safer nonstick option than most of the other Tefal pans (in my opinion).The price on offer was very good too!

We usually buy Tefal pans, because they're the brand which our local supermarket always seems to reduce in the sales. In the past we've bought the cheaper ranges and have only managed a few months use before either a scratch appears, or the pan starts to look a bit shabby. Then food begins to stick. So far, touch wood, none of the above has happened. It still looks like new, it cleans very easily, and I can fry an egg without oil if I want (which is my personal test). We paid a bit more than we normally pay, on the basis that it's better to hand over a few pounds more for something which will last. So far this looks like being the right decision.

This frying pan is up there with the best frying pans ever made, it is quite simply superb. You can fry without fat or oil with perfect results, add a little oil for perfect fried bread every time - in short it works wonderfully on every occasion, and when you are done just a quick wipe with a kitchen towel and it is like new! Wow this is fabulous. Even if you fry with a little fat/oil it never spits hot oil at you, brilliant. In fact it actually is so good enough descriptive words or phrases don't exist! Magnificent !

The best frying pan I have ever purchased. I have the wok as well and that is also perfect. A must buy item :-) cooks everything perfectly and is so easy to clean:-)
