Absolutely love this sling bag!
I bought the 3.5L version of this bag for both travel and hiking while in Europe and it worked great for both. Plenty of organization and easy to access. In addition, the bag fit an insulated steel bottle along with snacks which makes it a great bag for half-day hikes. The bag is durable and the adjustable strap was easy to adjust to the right size. While the material feels light, it shows little sign of wear after over a month of daily use. With very little in the way of labels or printed words, it was versatile for use while out and about in cities as well as on hiking trails. Finally, it was easy to position the bag on my chest for added security in crowds or while wearing a pack and equally comfortable to hike with it as a cross body bag on my back.

THIS CAN BE USED AS A FANNY PACK!
Before buying this product I read a review that said, "if you don't have a 36"+ waste size, you won't be able to use this as a fanny pack". That statement is completely wrong. I understand that in the product description, the belt measures nearly 40 inches. Well I can tell you firsthand that I have a 34 inch waist and it fits perfectly as a fanny pack, with several inches to spare. If you have a 32 inch waist you WILL be able to use this as a fanny pack. I would probably not try to use it as a fanny pack if your waist any smaller than 32 inches though. I purchased the 1.5 letter. This pack is really good quality. The materials used are very high quality. There's absolutely nothing cheap or flimsy about this pack. Additionally, someone obviously put a lot of thought into the overall design of the pack. It's a smart design. I'm pretty impressed!

Really great pack!
I looked at a lot of packs. I wanted it to be roomy, yet small enough to grab and go (I'm a 6', male). I can easily put wallet, car keys, home keys, ear bud case, mints, hand sanitizer, in the main area with room still. My phone does fit in the outside zip but it's a tight fit. I could put it in the main pocket but it would be a lot. This doesn't bother me because I like having my phone in my pocket. The zippers and pull tabs are smooth and easy to operate. The interior is orange, which I read some people don't like but I think it's cool and makes it super easy for me to find things. All said, a great grab and go pack for essentials and then some!

Not full x-pac! Otherwise great
I’m happy about most everything about the bag. Good size, great organization. Good material. However, charging almost 50% more for only partially x-pac backpack seems little much. I’m keeping the bag, but please note that it’s not full x-pac. It’s only for top and front, not bottom and back.

One of the best slings on the market!
So I've had this tomtoc aviator 3.5l sling for around 8 months now, and I gotta say they have really listened to what people want in an EDC sling bag. This is one of the best slings on the market. Believe it or not, I don't even mean in this price range. I'm talking at any price. The price is just the cherry on top.I have some photos added, but a couple things I've changed. the first thing I swapped are the zipper pulls. The ones that come with the bag are very thin and probably the only thing I could ding in the bag. But just pick up some 550 Paracord, like I did, and issue fixed. The second thing I changed out was the buckle. Now this isn't really a con. The duraflex buckle that comes with the bag is fine. I'm just very picky about my buckles and can't really stand the sound they make or the feeling of clipping them. So I cut that one off (do this at your own risk and think about everything before committing. This could ruin your entire bag) and added a Maglockz magnetic slider buckle from one of my older Alpaka slings. The quality of this sling is awesome. The strap is nice and smooth (like a seatbelt), the exterior ripstop fabric is amazing is prob my new favorite. Even overtaking X-Pac! It's so comfortable to wear. By far the most comfortable bag I own. It's feels great to interact with as well. The interior of the bag is also amazing to interact with. I'm so happy tomtoc finally made the high viz standard. The mesh on the interior is also some of my favorite in any bag. It's so soft and stretchy. The layout of the pockets works great and I'm always surprised with how much I can fit inside. I can take my carry out of much bigger slings, and very surprisingly, it usually fits with no issue in this sling. The zippers, even though not water sealed, are perfect. They are quality and some of the smoothest you'll get. The extra things that round out this bag and put it over the edge, are the keyleash in the front pocket, the pocket on the back for securing important items, and last but not least, the dangle free strap system that is very simple to adjust.Overall this is one of, if not my favorite sling ever. My favorite thing is how comfortable and form fitting the ripstop exterior fabric is. I honestly would pick the ripstop over the X-Pac in this situation. That's unless you absolutely need the water resistance and extra durability. But X-Pac will be much stiffer and less form fitting compared to this ripstop.(Slings in the attached photos)-Tomtoc Navigator-T24 9l/7l (unknown fabric)- Alpaka 2.6L(slate grey X-Pac) Elements Tech Case-Alpaka 5.5L (black Axo-flux) Go Sling- Kargo Gear 5L(Peacock X-Pac) Loculus Sling- Topo Designs 9L (420D nylon pack cloth) Quick Pack

Great Bag, Upgraded for the X-Pack version
The tomtoc 3.5L Sling Bag is a fantastic everyday carry option—lightweight, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the RFID-blocking pocket and how well it functions as a versatile crossbody or waist pack. The layout and storage capacity strike the perfect balance for my daily needs and travel essentials.Although I returned this particular version, it was only to upgrade to the same model in the X-Pac fabric, which offers enhanced water resistance. If you don’t need the added weatherproofing, this version is a solid choice and performs exactly as advertised.

Very practical and handy, great value
Purchased as a gift for my husband. He loves the smaller size and it fits nicely around his body in the style folks wear these nowadays. It has many little pockets inside for all his various items and he goes everywhere with it.
