Had the large Katchy fly trap for a while and have been pleased with it. Got the smaller plugins to go at doors to help in the summers with gnats and mosquitos.

This review is for the plug-in trap (non-fan). I bought two of them, tried them in different areas of the house, and the results were disappointing. They caught very few gnats. I also tried the plug-in trap made by Safer Home (I tried it in the same power outlets that I tried the Katchy traps) and the Safer Home worked really well. It caught a lot of gnats. The only two significant differences that I could see between those two products is that the Katchy trap has a blue light, while the Safer Home trap has a purple light. And the Safer Home light is brighter than the Katchy light.

I would not recommend as they did not work as we live with plenty of woods , and flying insects but they did not seems to work for us. Waste of money and should of returned but if was past the time but the time I got around to using them

Kathy works great in small places to stop gnats. Easy to use.

Like others in our apartment building, we had gnats we couldn't get rid of easily. We poured some bleach in the drains to get rid of the main problem but some of the gnats had made their way to other rooms. We plugged in two of these into different outlets and they actually worked! We were able to check the sticky paper to see if we were attracting bugs and if we weren't, we just moved them elsewhere until we hit the sweet spot that got rid of the last of the gnats. Problem solved!

Does not work great. Blue light fades. We haven't had them 2 years and already appears like no light is emitting. Also, I went to contact support and it says the page is not available.

I purchased these and immediately set them up, i put them in two places i see alot gnats. i made sure the protective paper is removed so the adhesive is exposed and facing where the light shines, and i made sure the areas are dark because i assumed they would be more effective during the night. the only thing that works is that the light attracts the gnats, after 2 nights only 1 gnat was on the adhesive and it was small. i also observed a gnat land on adhesive and fly away. not worth the money, product does not work or the adhesive pads i got were defective
