Hip & Joint Mega Soft Chews

One of my dogs basically threw out her back. She'd done that before, earlier this year, and it was a $500 vet bill where all they did was give her some meds. So I looked around for some over the counter meds that would be a lot less expensive, and stumbled upon this product. I figured $15 was worth the risk of it not working. But, it does work! Literally the next day after her first treat, my dog was running around like normal. It was still another week before she was really 100% (well, maybe 95% - she'll still snap if you pick her up wrong), but her recovery was really noticeable and really quick - much quicker than the meds we got from the vet, and obviously much cheaper. Plus, she actually ate the treats! The only way we could get her to eat her meds before was if they were inside a giant glob of peanut butter; she wouldn't even take meds that were in pill pockets. But these treats, she loves! Seems to just inhale them like a vacuum cleaner. Also, as a bonus, I didn't notice the larger container has larger treats (I thought it was just more). They're like 1 treat per 40 pounds of dog, and my dogs are both around 12 pounds, so I have to cut the treats into quarters so they don't overdose (I don't know if they can really "overdose" on this stuff, but I won't risk it). They're soft, so they're super easy to cut through. And since there's 90 of them that I have to cut into quarters for two dogs, I basically get twice as many treats for the price! (four times as many if I wasn't giving them to both dogs, just as a precaution). All in all, I highly recommend this product. I obviously can't guarantee your dog will be totally fine after a week, and you should consider going to see a vet if you can (but in my case, the vets were just like "gee, I don't know what could be wrong. Take these pills", so it was basically a waste anyway).

I thought it was about time I wrote a review. I have an English Mastiff she weighs 180 lb she is not overweight that's just how big they are. I started giving her pet n c supplements in April of 2018. I saw that she was getting stiff in her joints and having a harder time getting up. But I didn't think it was that bad. One day she was just stiff and having a little bit of a hard time getting up the next day she was where she could not lift her hindquarters off the bed. She cried out that night because she was stuck and could not get up, I rushed out and helped her up. (Can you imagine trying to help a 180 lb dog to stand). So I researched how much Glucosamine and Chondroitin a canine should have. I searched and searched through Amazon and I came across the pet NC with 600 mg glucosamine and 400mg chondroitin. That was the closest I could find so I ordered it and started giving her double the amount for the first month then the normal amount. Within just a while I could see they were helping her within a month she was doing really good. She is still doing good and back to her old self so I wanted to give props to pet NC it is an excellent supplement, that has really helped my baby. I have recently started another dog on them, she has been taking double for almost a month now and they really seem to be helping her as well. I can no longer hear her joints clicking as she walks by me. Update: Had my dog and my daughters dog who am I taking care of, on PetNC and they were doing really good. My daughter called me believing she had foung a joint supp. that was even better. So we tried it because it same ingredients + with same quantities of the ingredients. So I tried it for a month and my poor babies regressed. They were once again were in pain. One having a very hard time getting her back end lifted because she is old and all the other old pain that goes with that. The other has arthritis pretty badly and she was in her own world of hurt again, with the limping, very slowly trying to stand, etc. I immediately switched back to the proven PetNC. Most supps dont have enough of the needed ingredients or a high enough quantity or quality of the ingredients but PetNC does. I searched long and hard to find the right supp. to help my dogs, I found the right one but then made the mistake of trying another, I wont make that mistake again. I dont normally write reviews but with this one, dealing with our beloved pups, I felt it was important.

Works well for my older dog with hip pains. I can tell when she misses doses. She would not eat the hard chewables in this same brand but she loves these ones.

Finally I found a “chewable” joint supplement my dog would actually eat without it being out in peanut butter or a hot dog! 4stars because there is ALWAYS 1-3 fewer than 90 chews. I’ve kept track on several bottles by marking the # of days given. My dog get 3/day, and it never lasts 30 days. I’d try to find a different product if my dog didn’t like these so much.

We have used some supplements before but this is the only one so far that our dogs actually eat without hesitation. The flavor is appealing to them and our Australian Shepherd is appearing to be able to get up on the bed a little bit better. She’s about 10 years old and has some rear hip issues, maybe it was cold weather related but it is getting better since giving her these. We’re also giving them to our younger four-year-old dog as well for preventative maintenance. We are just going to subscribe to monthly deliveries since this appears to be working. Good stuff.

I have a small senior dog who suffers from joint stiffness on a daily basis, which comes with being 15yrs old. I have tried several chews and this one is by far the best. She actually runs and can climb the 2 steps it takes to get in the house. I got some free joint chews from a coworker and thought I would try them. Its not working. She is back to being stiff and not wanting to get around much. No running, just contantly trying to stretch out the pain. I am going back to this product. She is too old to go a day not being able to run and play. Thank you PetNC from myself and Dixi Darling.

I noticed my 7 year old mixed breed Ellie, was moving much slower than her 6 year old counterpart, Sugar. I realized that Sugar and I were routinely waiting at the door while waiting for her to get there. After a recommendation from a friend, I went in search of glucosamine and I found this wonderful product. According to the directions, you are supposed to give basically double dosage until you see a change. So, I gave her three in the am and three in the afternoon. I acted like they were treats and both dogs love them. After two weeks, my husband and I have noticed a great difference in both dogs (I couldn't just give one dog a treat!) Ellie is up and playing again and I no longer have to wait for her at the door. I am confident that this supplement has done wonders! I have since reduced the dosage to once a day and our dogs are happy and healthy!

Don’t be fooled these are huge...not great for little dogs. I bought this can after buying a smaller container for our older elderly dogs. These are basically 4x larger than the other ones but the same product so you have to tear them into small portions to give to a smaller 10-12lb dog.
