Good solid mini tripod
This is being used as the bit of kit that fits into most camera back and is always handy to have. It folds up quite small and is stable enough to support most DSLR camera and lens under approx 10cm length or anything smaller. Good for table top tripod.

Excellent quality product.
Excellent quality product. Would recommend this company above some of the more well known and more expensive companies.

not particularly stable and liable to unscrew whilst in use.....otherwise, brilliant!
This item is as good as its limited aspirations allows. Construction looks to be good, using reasonable materials. The design however is lacking. The two main challenges when using this are 1) the legs are too short, offering limited stability. This is despite the legs on this item being longer than many of it's peers. There is no wish to use this as a faux tripod, i.e. leave the camera and lens mounted and then walk off. This is used with a monopod with me in attendance at all times. When I remove the camera and lens, even a small wind will blow the now free standing monopod over. 2) the screw into the monopod bottom is sufficiently long to make a good connection, but if you rotate the monopod whilst tracking or changing the target whilst in use (e.g. motorsport, wildlife, field events) there is a very strong possibility that the legs will completely unscrew whilst in use, meaning that your kit is vulnerable to being dropped. Even leaving the locking mechanism on the base slack to allow movement cannot negate it unscrewing. This appears to be a design fault of many legs of this design - do they all originate from the same factory but with different branding? Crazy thought, I know. The monopod mounting screw needs to be independent of the rest of the feet mechanism. Using a StediLens does help, but ......As a replacement, I now use a SIRUI Compact Mini Desktop Tripod. The arca swiss clamp on the ball is removed and a 1/4" to M6 (male to male) converter is screwed between the ball and the monopod. The legs extend to a good length, and all movement is now around the ball head between the legs and the monopod i.e. independent of any screw threads. This is suitable for use with a tilting monopod head. Alternatively, you can lock the ball head (to e.g. to hold the monopod vertically) and use a StediLens to allow movement in the lens position. I prefer the first approach (the tilting head) when walking short distances as the monopod and camera/lens are fixed together allowing the combo to be slung over a shoulder, whilst the StediLens is better for longer walks as the monopod and camera/lens can be carried independently of one another.

Great fit for manbily monopod
One star removed as feet are not adjustable, but great option to add a little stability to what is a perfect monopod

Its for a mono pod.
I have the mono pod which for the price is excellent so decided to get the tripod base. I've got to be honest I'm not exactly enthralled by it. I cannot see any means to tighten it to the base of the mono pod solidly and I do not like the locking situation if pod is on an angle. Then again can't grumble at the price so I'll give it the stars.

Solid base for monopod - with a 3/8" thread not 1/4"
When I first received this monopod base I was disappointed - my own fault as I had not realised the thread was 3/8" not 1/4". I found an adaptor on Amazon - (Camera Screw Adapter Thread, 1/4" Male to 3/8" Female) so all good. (See pictures - note that these adaptors are not included with the Manbily Tripod Base - I needed to purchase these in addition to the monopod base). Once I had the adaptor, I found the Manbily Tripod Base very good indeed. This is a sturdy base that will make your monopod into a decent tripod without the extra size that is normally associated with tripods. I have an Insta 360 monopod/selfie stick and this (now) fits the Manbiiy Tripod base very well. There is a large red thumbwheel on the Manbily that when loosened allows the monopod shaft to be tilted (up to 20°). It's a nice feature to allow you to get a level shot - or you can play around with various quirky angled photos. You will need to press the release button on each foot to allow the legs to be folded - a nice safety feature that ensures the legs stay locked in the 'out' position until you deliberately unlock them and fold them back in. At £25 (with a 20% discount at the time of review), this is a well-made product that will help you enhance your photographic expeditions - or family gatherings when you want to take a picture of all involved.

Ok, it's not really bad, if you don't actually need the monopod to stay upright without support. There are probably times when it would be beneficial to be able to move the monopod around on the base. If that's what you're looking for, this would be great. BUT, and I emphasize but, if you thought this was something you could put on the bottom of your monopod and that it would be a stand- alone device like a tripod, this is not it. It's flexible, just like it would be if you didn't have it at the bottom of your monopod. Why they made it this way I don't know. Maybe they expected the user to need something to prevent the monopod from sinking into sand? Also it would be great if when you fold up the legs you could use it as a monopod, but you can't. You actually have to remove it in order to revert to a monopod. Why they put a rubber bumper on the middle bottom I'll never know, because it never hits anything either in the folded or extended position. Well made but pretty useless in my opinion.
