Broke before job was finished.
I bought this to create air holes in an acrylic hatbox that I was using as a habitat for a pet beetle, after drilling two holes it broke— one half became stuck. When I tried to remove it with pliers it broke again. I was unable to retrieve the broken tip so I decided to trash the project and start over... I kept visualizing the piece falling and injuring the beetle or it accidentally ingesting it.. yes I am serious.

NOTHING SPECIAL AND OVERPRICED
Nothing unique about the bit that makes it any better suited to plastic than any other HSS bit. I have special purpose bits for plastic that leave perfectly clean holes and this bit does NOT fall into that category. I tested this bit on 2mm thick ABS and [regardless of speed and pressure] it consistently left burrs on both sides. If your goal is produce clean holes in plastic that do not require dressing then I absolutely would NOT recommended it

Ruined my $200 boat plexiglass
This drill bit is advertised as being for acrylic and plexiglass but I'm pretty sure it is just a plain old drill bit. The drill but I received was black and looked nothing like the one in the picture above. It left cracks and chips in every hole I drilled (about 8 in all) on the new plexiglass for my boat. $200 down the drain because of this fraudulent item. I should have test it on my old glass but I trusted the listing. Lesson learned. Do not buy this drill bit if you are drilling into any plexiglass or acrylic.

The right bit for acrylic
I own a sign company. I've cracked a piece of acrylic on a job site trying to use a high-quality standard bit (cost me $250 to replace the sign). But what's worse is when a well-clamped acrylic sheet gets caught in the grooves of a standard bit and the sheet spins around and nails you in the leg. This is the right tool for the job. It cuts through acrylic without the cracks or bruises. I don't know whether it's better than other specialty acrylic bits, but it worked for me.

Totally useless garbage
This is a normal (though very overpriced) twist bit and is worse than useless for drilling acrylic/ plexiglass! The point angle of bits for plastic drill bits should be approximately 60deg, as is widely documented by manufacturers of that material. This bit (at least the one I received) has an angle of 126.5deg and indeed cracked the second surface of my test piece. An absolute scam, I will never buy this brand again.

good product
this drill worked well on my plexiglass. I drilled a very small hole before using this one, but it did not break the 1/8 inch plexiglassI was drilling into.
