- Relaxed the curly part of this cord is about 14 inches long, NOT 9 FEET It is called a 9 foot cord because 9 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard. 9 feet will be long enough for a cubicle or average desk. We have the 12 foot version in the store. This cord works on nearly any phone made in the last 30+ years. It uses the standard 4P4C (4 pin 4 conductor) connector which is also called RJ9, RJ10 & RJ22 Style: Long lead / tail. One end of this cord has no curl for about the last 3 or 4 inches. It is a lot easier to get it into the grooves on the backs of certain model phones. Color: Charcoal. Dark grey with a blue tint. Looks nice and works well with the T Series Nortel / Aastra phones. See the 2nd pic. It is a 9 foot version of this cord laying on a T Series phone.
