Was disappointed product was missing parts when received. Took a bit of time to get missing part but once received used smoker and I am extremely satisfied with this smoker. Definitely worth the price and the wait.

If you put your meat in this you can smoke it. It smokes all kinds of meats so long your meat is not too large. If you have a very large meat it will not fit on the racks. My wife loves to smoke meat. She has been smoking some meat since probably Jr. High I would guess.

I've had 2 electric smokers that were great, but they are hard to clean and unless you take very good care of them they don't last long, electronic go bad. Figured I'd try gas, this smoker is smaller than the electric ones. Full brisket needs to be cut in half and put on 2 shelves. The sides and back are not insulated but it can still get up to 300 degrees plus. Minimum temp around 200-225 which is perfect for smoking. Burner stays lit even in semi windy conditions. No moving parts so you can literally hose it down, I run the heat awhile to dry out. Electric start still works but I'm sure that'll stop eventually, but then a long Match could start it. It did have a dent on top like others posted but no way hinders operation and doesn't look that bad really. For sub $200 it's a great little smoker. My last electric didn't produce any smoke, had to get separate smoke chamber, this thing smokes fantastic. Great intro to smoking item or new to gas smoking.

The media could not be loaded. This smoker worked great. Very easy to assemble. I was able to smoke two rack of ribs and 12 chicken thighs in about 6 hours. The price for the smoker is great too! I strongly recommend this one to anyone!

I really like the convenience of this smoker for hanging chicken or game birds in but only for low and slow. In winter at around 30-40 degrees outside I could not get this past 350 degrees to crisp up the skin with the valve on high and wood chunks in it for smoke flavor on the bottom. Maybe it will in the summer at 100 degrees outside but I'm not there yet as it just freaking snowed again today.
