Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G Dual SIM 8GB RAM 256GB Aurora Purple EU

This phone is a bit of a mixed bag, and my rating reflects a compromise between the device's physical quality and its user experience out of the box. On the positive side, the hardware quality of the Redmi 13 Pro+ seems genuinely good, especially considering the price point. The build feels solid, the screen is impressive, and performance for everyday tasks is smooth. I am, overall, pleased with the phone's capabilities and design when I'm not encountering the software issues. However, and this is a major drawback: the phone comes absolutely riddled with pre-installed apps and what feels like excessive advertising and sponsored content integrated into the basic functionality. This is frankly unacceptable. When I purchase a mobile phone, I am paying for a device and a platform to use its features, not to be constantly served ads and promotional material. This significantly detracts from the user experience. Honestly, based purely on the principle of buying a product and still being subjected to this level of intrusive advertising, I feel this phone deserves a much lower rating, perhaps 2 stars at most. However, because the underlying hardware quality is undeniably good and I am otherwise satisfied with the phone's performance after dealing with some of the software clutter (and hoping some of the ads can be mitigated), I have decided to be generous and give it 4 stars. Potential buyers should be aware of the significant amount of pre-installed "publicity" and decide if the good hardware is worth the hassle of dealing with the software situation.

Daarom helaas retour gestuurd.
