RPM 80465 A-Arm Blue T-MAXX 2.5R, 3.3 Blue

These parts are high-quality and thicker and more durable than the stock parts they replace. I highly recommend ordering these. Additionally, RPM provides a lifetime warranty on their parts. So if anything breaks, they will send you out a replacement part. Last but not least, these parts are manufactured in the United States. Ordering this upgrade is really a no brainer.

It's the same thing I bought 15 years ago so they're awesome. I don't know how I broke that a-arm set (thinking my son stepped on it or something) but this set bolted right up and it's back up and running. It's the OG 2.5 so I did the conversion to the longer arms back then all around.What I'm really miffed about is RPM's "Backed by RPM's world-renowned breakage warranty" which means nothing at all. I e-mailed them saying I know it's old and I can buy this for so-and-so on Amazon, but figured I'd give the warranty a shot. NOPE! It's old, they won't cover it."Unfortunately, our older a-arms for the T-Maxx 2.5 have been discontinued for quite some time. That means we don't have any left to be able to cover your damaged a-arm under warranty. With respect to finding a replacement on Amazon, I doubt you'll be able to find a set of 2.5 versions. They're shorter than the newest versions by almost 5/8" per side. The correct part number you'll be looking for would be RPM #80265 to replace the damaged version you have. You'll most likely only find RPM #80465, which is the longer version. You can use this part number but you'll need to convert your entire truck over to 3.3 spec's to make them work."I stated I had the 80465 arms in the email, but I didn't want to raise cain and do the back and forth over something I find trivial. They do say "2.5, 2.5R, and 3.3" and clearly state "T-Maxx 1.5 owners will need the longer T-Maxx 2.5 turnbuckles and axles." though. Fair warning was noted when purchased but too quickly got "nope" for my taste. There is a 2.5 classic...it's the Sport Maxx and we've probably all converted by now due to lack of parts.

Heck of a huge upgrade from the stock A-arms. A bit of a pain to change, but worth it. Heavy duty for certain. I wouldn't quote them and say that they match up to the aluminum parts by any means. And are a bit pricey for any plastic, but all in all will hold ya down a ton better then the stock arms that'll snap on a decent hit.

Huge improvement over stock a-arms (which I obliterated crashing into a curb). You can see and feel the difference in the plastics used, and I'm confident these will hold up much better in the long run. It took some time to get the screws threaded into the shock mounts but once they were in they were solid. Also, be careful not to over thread the screws or they will hit the driveshafts and rub...

Installed on tmaxx 3.3 4907. A must have if you abuse it. Rpm is the way to go. I installed all rpm components on the maxx. And it finally stopped breaking every time i use the pos. Thanks rpm
