Bring back the beans!
This is good but not as good as the kits they used to sell. The old kits had beans, cheese and salsa.

Easy and Delicious, Need Ground Beef and Beans
I actually really enjoyed this kit! Chips were thin and there isn't too much in there, but just enough that this is a good meal for 2 as main dish, if side maybe a few more. Note you need 1lb of ground beef for this and they provide the seasoning for the beef in this kit. I would also highly recommend you add your own beans, so having ground beef and beans on hand is what you will need for this. Adding tomatoes or some veggies would also be great as everything is pretty salty.Ground beef seasoning in particular is very very salty, so do not go less than 1lb for this recipe, if anything add more! There was plenty of cheese for the nachos. I went the baking route instead of microwave and it came out nicely. Overall for the price, not bad and fun.

Yummy but pricey
They are quality great tasting but for the price not the greatest value. They were packed well with great flavor and seemed fresh enough

my kid had fun with this
My kid and his friends are obsessed with Taco Bell, and they like to cook, so one day when my kid's friend was over we got out this kit for them to try. They are 14 and were able to handle this on their own, with adult supervision while using the stove. You have to supply the ground beef (or whatever meat you prefer), and the kit contains the seasonings, chips, taco bell sauce and cheese. They also added chopped lettuce, sour cream and tomatoes to the finished product. It's a fun kit for a quick and easy meal or snack. Would I buy it again? Maybe, maybe not, as we generally have tortilla chips and queso already in the house, as well as taco seasoning. But was it fun? Yes, super fun and the end result was delicious.

Nachos BellGrande Meal Kit
Perhaps it is just me, or the portion sizes that my family and I enjoy, but this is more of a side dish than a main. I do like nachos more than the average person, so take that with a grain of salt! The kit was really easy to make and everything tasted wonderful. I enjoyed all of the included ingredients - all you have to do is provide the protein - you can enjoy it with beans if you do not want to add meat. I loved that there was an option to go vegetarian if wanted. I also could have had a lot more chips included, but again - that's just me!

A very approachable recipe and instruction set. Mild Taco Bell sauce provided.
I enjoyed the Taco Bell Loaded Nachos "BellGrande" Meal kit, although it requires quite a few additional ingredients. The kit includes a bag of triangle-type tortilla chips, a Velveeta cheese packet, a 1 oz packet of Taco Bell seasoning mix, and a large packet of Taco Bell mild taco sauce. To complete the meal, you need to provide 1 lb of ground beef, 16 oz of refried beans, sour cream, and diced fresh tomatoes. You'll also need 3/4 cup of water, a microwaveable plate, and various cooking utensils and appliances.I added some diced onion while browning the meat, used more than the 1/2 cup of refried beans called for (a 16 oz can is about 2 cups), and left out the chopped tomatoes. I assembled everything on a microwaveable platter and was more impressed than I expected. Adding sour cream and some shredded lettuce after the microwave step really tied everything together, resulting in a tasty meal that I enjoyed with both fingers and a fork. The instructions suggest drizzling the cheese sauce, but at room temperature, it's more like squeezing out a line of semi-solid cheese. The microwave step is crucial to liquefy the cheese. This kit is helpful and inspiring for learning how to make loaded nachos. However, by the time you gather all the additional ingredients, you realize you could easily use tortilla chips, real cheese (rather than cheese sauce), a different taco seasoning packet, and a salsa with more character than the mild Taco Bell sauce (my least favorite). The listing describes many protein and topping options to consider, none of which appear on the side-of-the-box instructions provided. While I doubt I'll buy another loaded nacho kit, I am likely to switch some of my "taco night" cooking to making loaded nachos.I recommend this kit to someone new to cooking tacos or loaded nachos as a basic introduction to the methodology. However, none of the kit's ingredients stand out enough to make me want to repurchase it over buying individual components that better match my preferences.
