Commonly Used For: Sports injuries; post-op rehabilitation for hip replacement, rotator cuff, wisdom tooth; headaches and migraines; fevers and other medical conditions; pain relief for head, face, jaw, shoulder, elbow, rib, hand, leg, stomach, belly, pelvic, perineal, feet, toes; perinatal and prostate discomfort; joint inflammation, bruises, sprains and muscle spasms; minor arthritis, menstrual cramps, toothaches, minor burns. Caution: - Heat treatment using warm water is possible, but do not use as a hot water bottle. Keep inside temperature below 60° C (140° F). - Do not apply to skin with decreased sensation or lacking proper circulation, which may cause frostbite. Consult your doctor in this case if cold therapy is safe. - Cold therapy works by decreasing blood flow to injured tissues and reducing inflammation. For best results, apply the ice bag for 20-30 minutes at a time, in between 3-4 hour intervals, until swelling or pain subsides.
