Enemy Within (Nocturnus) Paperback – April 18, 2024

I love discovering new book series and this one is amazing with a respectful nod to Larry Correia. Now, onto book 3!

This book was a slow started. I was actually kind of bored at several times. But when we got to the action that was pretty good. Still not sure when the end all will be but entertaining even if I don’t love it right now.

Troy Odell, Tamra, Tara, Tyler and Mel are running flat.out from Europe to.Seattle.and then Rio Dr Jane doe to battle back to back monsters. Its non stop action.by a master story teller.When a.young man corrupted by a.life of self I diligence and wealth lets his inner demons loose.in Rio.he encounters something incredibly ancient and ecil. Can the team find.and rescue him from his fevered dreams of love before the.evil eats his soul? Sit down, shut up.and hold on.as.Odell.brings.war.to the.monsters.

I enjoyed the book. I like a little homage to monster Hunter international I’m still not sure if these books exist in the same world, but it makes sense. Certainly hope they’re able to get some better fighters. We shall see you in the next book.

After Book 1 I knew that there was a LOT more to come, and Mr Ford has once again delivered 100%! I am absolutely hooked on this series already after only two books; I love the characters and their humour and fragility, I love the down n' dirty action, and I definitely love the fact that it's "good guys against the darkness" without being trite... if you like a superb story well told, with some military-style action, a lot of humanity, and some monsters in the mix, then this (again) is most definitely for you! Very much looking forward to Book 3...
