8BitDo has produced a phenomenal keypad! Super fast connection, Bluetooth connects super easy and the numbers project flawless. The keypad is aesthetically pleasing to look at it, it captures the retro vibe perfectly. It also has a calculator mode. Now I wasn't sold on the idea at first but wow has it come in handy!! Super easy to toggle on and off. Has a bright red button for it. And for the most important question? How does it sound?? Sounds are like 1980s arcade machine. You can not go wrong with this keypad, 1000 percent recommend it.

Awesome numpad, yes its pricey but worth it. Got the matching keyboard for Christmas so this was the matching numpad. Great retro design, yes the keys are loud, which makes it super cool. You're able to use it as a numpad, has a shortcut button to activate the laptop computer and the best feature was the capability of using it as an actual calculator with a light up display.

Build quality is nice, switches feel accurate and punchy. Top 3 buttons don’t feel amazing but shouldn’t need to use them super often. Screen is far better than expected. No bleeding or extra glow. Feels actually retro. Entire unit is lighter than expected , I wish it had a bit more weight to it, but honestly nitpicking because I can’t find much I don’t like. Bluetooth hooked up instantly to my iPhone for testing and worked with zero noticeable latency. The 2.4 hz dongle hides in the back magnetically so I almost thought they forgot it. Also works perfectly. I have yet to try the software to rebind keys but will update review when I do. Did not try wired mode because why would I, but the cable they sent with it feels wayyy more premium than I expected. My Toyota legit came with worse cables. Hotswapped a switch just to make sure I could. Easy peasy. Will likely buy 2 more for work and my wife, at this price the value is just plain better than Keychron which is what I really wanted.

This is a fairly large numpad, so make sure you have enough desk space for it. The chunky, tactile typing feel is excellent and very satisfying. I’m deducting one star due to the lack of key customization in the software. That said, the Bluetooth connection works reliably—it wakes up quickly and hasn’t missed a single keypress so far, which is a problem I’ve had with many other keyboards with bluetooth connections. Overall, this is the best standalone numpad I’ve used. Its size, however, makes it better suited for home or office setups rather than portable use.

I have been using this at work for a week in a position where I used the numeric pad often. I don't think it is worth moving down to 4 stars, but the only disappointment for me is that there are only 9 digits on the display when using it as a standalone calculator. I deal with numbers in the 10's of millions and need to go out to the penny so the standalone calculator feature is limited for me, but it is still useful from time to time. Those who would use it for smaller amount would have no issue. I really like the connectivity options, the battery level readout when powering it up and the button to bring up the Windows calculator. The layout of the function keys may take some getting used to. I hit the backspace key often when going for another key, but that will work itself out with use. The dongle for wireless connectivity (assuming Bluetooth isn't an option for you) is held very securely with a magnet so losing it would be almost impossible during transport. In summary, I am very pleased with the unit so far and only wish it had been released closer to when the keyboard was so I could have been using the fantastic keyboard at work prior to now.

I love this thing. It is an awesome companion to the matching keyboard. It's nice to have a separate number pad for those that prefer a TKL keyboard. The styling is amazing. The battery lasts FOREVER. They switches and key caps are top quality and sound great. The calculator function is surprisingly useful. And the fact it can magnetically attach to the matching keyboard make this a must buy if you have the keyboard.

Chunky, heavy, solid. Perfect size and match to the keyboard. If you are using this and the keyboard as 2.4wireless not BT then you will need to use both dongles as far as I can tell. I haven't found a way to pair both to a single dongle. I use this alot as a stand alone calculator. So just to verify to everyone that yes, this will work as a desk calculator without being paired to anything. And u can switch back and forth with the top button between pc/numpad function and desk calculator at any time. So if anyone just wants and awesome standalone retro NES desk calculator for office work and not pc use this works very well, the key switches feel awesome, the display is bright and clear. They also make the retro Commodore and IBM style versions if you prefer those aesthetics. Can't recommend enough. It's basically perfect.

Feels good and types incredibly well, but check out the "+" key. It's tiny!!! If you're a 10-key typist, it'll drive you nuts. Love 8bitdo as a company, but the design layout is rough for enthusiasts.

Curioso, muy curioso y atractivo, tener un teclado numérico mecánico, al más puro estilo retro al que nos tienen acostumbrados desde 8bitdo. Tal cuál sucede con el teclado mecánico del mismo estilo, sorprende desde que lo desembalas. El tacto es perfecto, los acabados premium y de una sutileza increíble. Funciona tanto por BT como con 2.4GHz gracias a su adaptador USB. Y lo más curioso, es que funciona tanto conectado al PC, como independientemente, como calculadora retro... Simplemente increíble! Indispensable si te pillas el teclado del mismo estilo pero en formato corto. Me encanta! Altamente recomendable, sin duda alguna.

Der eingebaute Taschenrechner ist toll, funktionierte direkt ohne Treiber oder Software. Alleine die Mechanischen Switches habe ich ausgetauscht weil die sehr laut klicky sind. Mit leisen Taktilen- oder Linearen Switches gab es sie Leider nicht.

音もデザインも赤字も最高すぎるww w 今の技術に繋がって、デザインはレトロなのが最高だと思う！！ Wi-Fi Bluetooth 外部のデバイスに繋がりますが、僕は電卓としてだけ使ってます！ 電池式ではなくCタイプの充電式🔌 欠点は特にないけど、好きな人にしか刺さらないと思いますねw

Se siente muy bien, sus colores son preciosos y estéticamente es precioso. Para que los números aparezcan es necesario activar el modo calculadora, me hubiera gustado que se pudieran activar sin eso. Pero no pasa nada, me gustó.

Plus: - Looks really awesome - Pretty decent switches - Hotswappable - Awesome keycaps - they actually have that grainy retro texture which feels really nice - Shortcut to open the calculator is nice to have if you use it often - Standalone calculator feature is also really practical and fun to use - Great build quality for being plastic - The 3 buttons at the top and the knob feel amazing Minus(being really nitpicky here): - Expensive for lacking a metal base considering it's just a numpad - Slight wobble on the switches - Standalone calculator only supports numbers up to 999999999 - Manual says to install the software, but the software doesn't seem to have any features besides updating the firmware. I would love to be able to configure the keys and what the display shows. Would be really cool to display CPU and GPU temps for example. I definitely recommend it for the right person. As part of my job, I have to do basic math here and there - using this makes that fun. There's just something really cool about the retro look, the feel of the buttons, the display etc. So the value is mostly emotional, it's just really really cool.
