Love it, kind of don't like it sometimes too
I had no idea how I would cover the wooden paneling in the bathroom and sunroom in my vacation home. Painting is very time-consuming and permanent with prepping and priming and everything like that. So I saw this online and thought voila! Here's the answer. And it is the answer. It covers the paneling cracks wonderfully and is a dramatic change. But it was not all fun and games. The bottom roll down below in the bathroom, the darker color, went on fabulously. And that's what made me want to continue. So I bought the lighter top color and it was a bit harder, probably just due to the length of the paper. Bathroom completed. So I thought okay... I will cover up the other paneling in the sunroom. Nothing but problems. When it was manufactured, something happened to a couple of the rolls and at about every 6 inches there was a huge defective stripe across the middle of the paper, on the adhesive side. Reminded me of the very last piece of something rolled up on something rectangular. Putting it up, it was rippled through the whole piece and it was like this with three pieces. With much persistence, and constant smoothing for almost 2 days trying to stick this paper down, it did eventually stick. But I have no doubt this was a manufacturing flaw because out of the five rolls that I purchased in total, one roll was very bad, one was only kind of bad and the rest were fine. Would I do it again? Oh yes! I wanted a temporary solution, unlike painting would have been. Helpful hints: Take your time. Measure twice cut once and all that. Don't try to force it into the cracks of paneling because it will show if you try too hard. Just lightly smooth over where the cracks are. If a piece gets crumpled, just on crumple it. Chances are you'll be able to stick it down fine. Get an assortment of flat pieces of plastic to be used as smoothers. They give you one but it's not really adequate. You can stick down and remove and stick down probably three times if you haven't really applied much pressure. There does come a point If you do it too much where it just won't stay stuck down. If you're doing long runs, line up your seams and then smooth the paper out horizontally from the seam. Cut a piece too short? You can do a lot of patching with odds and ends and not really know it because both of these patterns blended very easily, the rattan pattern and the grass cloth pattern. I will say however, with the rattan pattern make sure you run the paper the same direction. I thought it would be interchangeable up and down, but it's not and you'll notice it. The grass cloth is much more forgiving in terms of pattern matching. Despite everything, I will still give it five stars because of the finished product. It's just a world of difference and I love it!

Reasonable and cute.
This wallpaper was in our price range and cute. We have a dining room with chair rail and we needed to replace the trim. Our old trim was about 3 inches taller than the new. When the old trim was removed it left us with much needed drywall repairs. Unfortunately health and time was against us so we decided to slap this wallpaper up to camouflage the best we can till the time to do it right. We get lots of compliments most people don’t notice the minor issues. Thankfully the pattern is busy and covers lots up. I will say this is thin and the edges don’t have the best adhesive. The edges are lifted a bit but evenly so it’s not awful. Luckily it is also the bottom half of our chair rail so it’s not as noticeable. It’s been up for about 3 months and is holding up great. I wouldn’t recommend for large projects or a whole wall but that’s just my opinion. We had a few bubbles to work out and I did accidentally tear it in one place because it is on the thinner side.

This is just freakin amazing!!!!
This wallpaper is just amazing! I had some old wallpaper some of it very dark and a lot of rough patches and it covered everything! I can't recommend it highly enough. It really is a two person job though!

Not so easy!! - ? color match
I guess I just don't like the self stick. With the old fashioned paper it seemed easier to adjust when needed. When trying to line up the edge to edge it was not easy to do. I ended up pulling back the entire 90" and starting over trying not to stick the sticky portions together. Perhaps I should peel from left to right instead of from top to bottom. I'll give that a try on the next stripe! Had to order another roll. Guess I didn't calculate how much I needed.I do like the color and texture. The paper backing rips and doesn't come off in large sections but then again maybe it's just me. I have hung quite a bit of wallpaper in my life but never used self sticking. Also I wonder if the second roll is from a different lot # or something as it appears to be darker then the first. Of course you don't notice this until you put it on the wall. Not a good situation!!!

Do not order this if you are actually planning on using it as wallpaper.
The colors on this product are good, but it is not a stable product as wallpaper. Started peeling and bubbling a day after installed and is definitely not a valuable product. Not sure about a refund with the paper already installed but will try!!!
