Vostok| Amphibia 060335 Automatic Self-Winding Diver Wrist Watch

Very large and heavy
My first mistake was probably to order a man's watch. It also may be that self-winding watches need to be thicker and heavier for all the mechanics involved. Anyway, this watch is very big and very heavy, especially for a woman to wear. I am getting used to it, so it's not a deal-breaker. Also a bit disappointing was the fact that the description specifically said the markers and hands were luminous but mine are not. I also wish I knew why there is a compass component around the face that cannot work as a normal compass--maybe some high-tech use that I don't know about. Finally, it did not dawn on me that buying a Russian-made watch is not politically correct at this time, so I kind of regret my purchase. On the plus side: I LOVE the self-winding feature! It keeps very accurate time. The price was a fraction of other mechanical watches. So, good and bad, but I would not buy it again (mostly because of the Russia thing). **Looked up how to use the compass bezel, and it's pretty cool after all!

Surprisingly accurate
I am very impressed with the accuracy of this watch so far. I've only had it a few days but I keep checking the time compared to my phone and it matches up. The watch itself is beautiful. The band is okay but I had a difficult time removing links because the pins did not want to come out. Finally got it done but I'm planning on changing it to a NATO strap as soon as the Amazon driver shows up today. I highly recommend this watch. It's different and interesting and it has a cool history. Happy to add it to my collection.
