This is great sketching paper, it can handle multiple layers of shading. This paper is very smooth and graphite blends beautifully on it. It also works great for pen drawings. This is my go to practice paper, other cheaper sketchpads will break down when you start layering graphite or ink but not Strathmore getting the name brand for art is worth it

I use these sketchbooks to dump all my creative ideas and messy sketches. They are great quality for the price. The top binding makes them very easy to use and comfortable for both right handed and left handed people. Recommend for casual sketching.

i like these sketchbooks, the tooth is nice and it's well priced. i use them for sketching in ballpoint pen, graphite, and ink. however when i order them from amazon they sometimes arrive damaged :( (bent pages).

These pads along with the pens and pencils we gave our grandson for Christmas gave him and us so much joy.

Bought it for kid High School Art class. The brand and size was recommended by another parent. After a month of use and beat up in class and my kid’s school bag, the cover has not fallen off and is still holding strong. The pages feel nice and smooth for any of your art creations. Each page is micro-perforated and easy to tear any page out from the wire spiral binder edge to have a nice smooth top edge.

Nice size. Nice paper. I like the tooth for pencil and ink. Useful for sketching but not for permanent work.

This is good only for practicing sketching ,erases well, 100 sheets good deal , but I find paper too thin which makes the paper curl , also need to be careful when you turn the pages so it does not break !
