This chair is amazing!!! I am an artist and sit for all too many hours, along with skating and running, so my hips can be really tight. I spent quite a bit of time looking at these types of chairs noticed this chair had the CORRECT tilt WITH adjustable lever, swivel, and height adjustment. Other reviews seemed positive as well so I tried it. It was very easy to assemble and is made of high quality materials. It is firm but not hard so I feel it will hold up. In terms of the tilt, in the most upright position, it still cradles my hips in back. Other chairs do not appear to tilt correctly even when static. This chair is also narrower than most others as well. I am 5’2”, about 100 lbs and I can sit very comfortably in several positions depending on what I’m doing. I use a couple of yoga blocks to ensure proper positioning when working at taller heights. I initially wanted (or thought I wanted) one with a back, but it seems to me if it is properly made, your position will keep you from even needing it. I sat for 6-8 hours today and my hips and even my knees are in heaven!!! Even my shoulders and back are in better shape than any other chair I have ever sat so long in. My biggest regret is not doing this sooner. I don’t leave many reviews but if you are petite and looking, this stool gets 10 stars for posture. I am not sure there is a better chair for a woman’s body! :)

I wanted to love this stool. I’m a massage therapist so I gave it a shot for 2 weeks. PROS It’s very well made and sturdy however CONS for me even with the lever as flat as it could be, it pushed my torso forward when sitting causing significant strain on my inner leg muscles and sore points that I just couldn’t deal with anymore so I had to return it for a different one.

Rolls easily even on bathroom rug.

I'm short. 5'1. I am not long legged for a short person. I did measure my inseam before buying. Sitting properly on a saddle stool is important. Sitting properly, this stool is short even at the highest setting. It settles just a bit. I'm not returning as I already got rid of the box and such.All I am saying is if you are taller than 5'1, this may not be the stool for you. Even at my height, I need at least another 3-4 inches to sit properly. Otherwise, it is a stable stool and seems well made.

Love the seat angle adjustment. Pretty comfortable seat, but it is pretty firm. Could use a little bit more padding. Rolls nicely. Biggest issue-short cylinder height. I am 5”4 and have a short inseam, this stool at the tallest is still slightly shorter than I’d like to sit.
